RC 1079 "Buzz"
2nd clone of the day .
His helmet was spawned when I tried to remove the sharpie off an old figure with nail polish remover and the plastic softened and the sharpie smeared. So since it was messed up I cut off the fin and VOILA! You have Buzz. Enjoy.

Ouch. It looks pretty nice. Looks like this guy has been in the wars.

Re: RC 1079 "Buzz"
Yeah this is in the 3rd year of the war, it sucks about what happened with the helmet...

Re: RC 1079 "Buzz"
Yeah I feel bad for that helmet. He looks pretty good under those circumstances.

Re: RC 1079 "Buzz"
Yeah the helmet's really rough, but it looks like he's been in a lot of battles and likes his armor like that.

He looks like an Alien barfed in his face . Considering the helmet was aready ruined, it's a pretty nice job.

'When ever I see something like this, I wince.' That's the second time I've said that. Looks like your clone trooper could use with a new paint job.

I agree. Take time working on your custom guys.
Re: 1079 Buzz
I am not the most experienced mini-fig customizer on cabg but you should take your time painting.
Re: RC 1079 "Buzz"
First, Rex, it is sharpie. Second, Yoda, the sharpie is peeling. Third, Crusher, that made no sense, Aki's comment was a compliment(ish). Fourth, mattkilla, no comment.

So true, in essence, but please don't spam. Please take some time to think about what you are posting and make sure that it's intelligent.

Thanks for the tip about the brickshelf, Aki-kundu. Banned.
Anyways, I think this is a good first try, however, if you were to do this again without decals, I would suggest;
Use an xacto knife to cut the fin off. It's much more precise. Then sand down the bumps with sandpaper.
Sharpies are generally to broad for accuarate customization: I would use paint and fine tipped brushes. But this is good for a sharpie job, I guess.

Re: RC 1079 "Buzz"
Hmm, nice concept but the helmet and arms are messy.

No one seems to realize I want him to look like that. I like the rugged and messed up look on him.
