The 265th Legion
_____________________________________________________________________________
Legion Crest:
265th Leaders:
Jedi General Ruaidhri
- A stern but mostly fair Jedi Master, Ruaidhri [information classified], and was reluctant to rejoin the fight with the 265th. After [information classified], he helped the 265th turn the tide of the battle and took back his rightful place as their general. He was good friends with Commander Jinja, but is more hesitant to befriend Vorste.
Clone Commander Jinja (MIA since 1ABG)
– One of the original Clones who first served on Geonosis, Jinja led his troops to victory on several occasions in the year that he commanded the 265th. He disappeared during an effort to [information classified], and was presumed dead in the subsequent explosion.
Acting Clone Commander Vorste – Commander Jinja’s replacement, following his presumed death on [information classified]. He is somewhat cold towards the other troopers, and can be very secretive at times. A fair enough tactician, but is unfairly compared to the previous commander.
Regimental Commander Ix (Infantry regiment) – An expert tactician, Ix has a military mind and knows that a good attack plan can turn the tables in battle. Ix was originally part of an elite Coruscant Shock Trooper squad, but was taken in by the 265th (along with the rest of his squad) when he crash-landed in the middle of the fighting on Naboo.
Regimental Commander Zahn (58th Speeder Regiment) – A bit of a loose cannon at times, but he gets the job done. Provides valuable morale with battlefield humour, but knows when to come back down to ground.
Regimental Commander Zaphod (Space combat regiment) – The legion’s resident flying ace, Zaphod was even drafted out to the Open Circle Fleet during the Outer Rim sieges to fight alongside Kenobi and Skywalker.
Regimental Commander Brox (61st Heavy Mechanised Regiment) – A strong believer in brute force, Brox’s favoured weapon is usually “the biggest gun you’ve got, preferably bolted onto a tank.” When this fails, he tends to crush enemies with their own base, instead.
Notable Troops:
Reg. Cmdr. Ix’s Shock Squad
– These four troopers crash-landed their ship in the middle of a battle between the 265th and the Commerce Guild, helping wipe out the Guild forces and delivering valuable information to the 265th. As the previous infantry commander was killed in the battle, they were given high-ranking positions in his old regiment.
Vehicles:
Standard-Issue Republic Army Vehicles – ARC-170, TX-130, etc.
Shocker – Reg. Cmdr. Ix’s customised Shock Trooper transport.
Gen. Ruaidhri's Starfighter - Opting out of using a Delta-7 or Eta-2, the General instead puts his force-enhanced piloting skills to work in this obscure model with a few adjustments of his own.
(Section is under construction)
Notable Battles:
Geonosis,
Hoth,
Naboo (current assignment, under construction )
(Section is incomplete)

One man, but the right man for the job? Is that it? Anyways, I like your legion!

Correctamundo! (A word I hope to never use again.) It's the Clones' rallying call, according to the Episode III visual dictionary. Unfortunately the wookiee ate your cookie. They've been known to do that.

Aki: I'm a purist until I get the materials to be a modder. Expect the designs of these guys to change once I get my hands on some A4 sticker paper. Or not, if people like them and I'm feeling lazy. I do have a few MMCB kamas and such to spruce up the official minifigs, though.

Re: The 265th Legion
Yeah, you guys get half-price LEGO, too... Ah well, I like to think of it as the 'not having George Bush' tax.
Anyway, veering this thread back on-topic, what does everyone think of the 265th's crest? I'm quite fond of it myself, but then, I did make it.

Re: The 265th Legion
If you PM me what you'd do with it (colour, patterns, lettering, etc) I can jazz it up for you on Photoshop. It'll look better if I do it, because I still have the original version that's about four times bigger than that one. Also, I can make sure it doesn't look too much like mine.

Re: The 265th Legion
Your legion is very organized and the crest is beautiful. My favorite parts are the clone trooper facemask background and the algrebresh (SP I know I should know this ) writing on the side. What program did you use to make it?
Re: The 265th Legion
Aurebesh. It's actually a downloadable font, which I got from here. I used 'Aurek-Besh Font' as I believe that's the most up-to-date version. I also nabbed the handwritten version, 'cause you never know when stuff like that'll come in handy. The other fonts on that page are pretty nice, too, and 'Xixor' in particular looks great on comic covers.

Thanks I'm still a little embarassed for not spelling it right I'm downloading the font now. I'll write all my essays with this font
Also what program did you use to make the picture? Photoshop?
Re: The 265th Legion
Yeah, Photoshop. I scanned the LEGO Clone Wars box art and cut out the visor.

Re: The 265th Legion
Small update: Thanks to Wuzzup, I finally have a picture to post in Cmdr. Jinja's bio! Thanks Wuzzup, I look forward to seeing him in person. (Once he's here, I'll take my own pic to fit in better with the others, which may or may not be up shortly...I'm confuzzled. )
EDIT: He is here! Now, blue or ornj visor?

The orange one is red, and I agree. Use the blue one. Reminds me of RCs.

Re: The 265th Legion
I agree blue is good!
It matches great! Also, who would want to look through a foggy orange HUD?

Re: The 265th Legion
I actually think a green visor would be better than orange or blue.
