Empire strikes back, again!
After the Battle of Hoth, the rebels regrouped and used several bases throughout the galaxy. Only weeks before the rebels amassed a huge armada at Solust to attack the second Death Star, the empire stepped up its attacks on suspected rebel strongholds. Here is a picture that made it to the HoloNet news. A rare shot of imperial troops in battle that was used as propaganda to show that the Empire was still in control.
The HoloNet report that went out with the picture was as follows:
"...rebel terrorists were attacked at a secret base late last night Coruscant time. Their numbers were decimated as Imperial Troops took the base easily. All the surviving traitors to the galactic empire were rounded up and taken into custody for questioning."

Re: Empire strikes back, again!
You should make a awesome comic with all of that lego star wars sets.
Especially those Imperial landing crafts and RGS those are my favorite.

Sandtrooper, Your collection is awesome but your MOCing skills (at diorama's) aren't. What I see in here is just a bunch of random plates with some vehicles on it, not really special.

Re: Empire strikes back, again!
In lieu of DP's comment, I would suggest starting from the bottom up.
In that you should seperate the army. Take one AT-AT and one or two Dropships, and then see if you can build a battle area. Maybe even start with one Dropship and a bunch of Stormies, and the Rebel Camp.
Then, by and large as you're going along add more dropships and AT-ATs and Stormies, while adding the surrounding area as you go along.
Glad to have you back in town, though.

Re: Empire strikes back, again!
I agree with everyone else... this is just a bunch of sets on a collection of base plates...
You can at least modify some.... it makes it look alot better!
Also, I think you need to make custom vehicles...

Wow, a lot of sets but not a real MOC. You have to actually make some other than the sets.

I don't like to MOC except for small additions like landing sites, radar towers, using fire for laser marks etc. (look closer). My Hoth Base has some MOCing (see link below), but I like to keep it to a minimum. I prefer to keep the aesthetic of the Lego design (99% of the time). I still believe that you can be creative with setting up scenes without having to build extra stuff. Therefore, I am still a creating.

I see myself as a purist. I did change Anakin's Delta 7B to a Delta 7 (see below). Only 'cos I don't like the 7B. Neither did Plokoon. If you look closely in ROTS when he gets shot down during Order 66, he is in a standard Delta7. Maybe there were no 7B's available at the time (or a droid to put in it).
Same goes for the LAAT/i. If I had the pieces, I would but bubble turrets on the RGS. For me there are Republic Gunships (those with bubble turrets) and Republic Attack ships (those without). They may be both LAAT's, but they are fundamentally a different craft in combat. It seems to me a little strange for continuity not to see any LAATs without bubble turrets in ROTS. Perhaps near the end of the war, they found the gunship was a better strike weapon.
I also changed the 7163 RGS so that the front part of the ship doesn't open, however it still looks the same, if not better because there is no seam where the two parts that open meet. Those with 7163's will no what I mean.
Here are a couple of MOC's, but I never put them in my dioramas.

Yeah... pretty much! This is an awesome Imperial Collection you've got going here. I love the 2 at-ats. Are they the motorized version? Where in the world did you get so many pauldrons?!
Re: Empire strikes back, again!
The AT-AT's are the original 4483. I think they look a lot better than the motorized ones. I hope that in the future they will bring out another AT-AT set. Maybe for the 15th Anniversary!
Each Sentinel (Imperial Landing Craft) set came with two sandtroopers, and I used a pauldron from Commander Cody in the Clone Turbo Tank set. That is all the pauldrons that I have. I wish I had more, at the moment I only have a squad, when I would like to have a platoon! (A platoon is made up of 36 men, headed by a lieutenant. Squads have nine troops; four squads to a platoon. Each squad is led by a sergeant.)
The Lieutenant (who is attached to this squad) is from 7264 Imperial Inspection (hence the printed legs). The breather pack on the Sandtrooper nearest the Landing Craft cockpit is supposed to signify an engineer, within the squad.
