Arth's Delta-7
Alright, I'm sure all of you have seen my other version, the 7B. But due to the Clone Wars, I have learned that that (LOL) version was a 7B, to my dismay. Also, you may notice this looks alot similar to T-bs, well this has been around for 2 weeks now, and he has never seen it. Now then...
A customized Delta-7, the Enigma was seen at many fronts. In the later days of the Clone Wars, Arth served as Alpha Leader in Alpha Squadron, consisting of 6 modified V-Wings. Unlike many Jedi at the time, he did not upgrade his Delta-7 to a 7B, but he was known to switch back and forth with his ETA-2. Co-piloting the ship was Arth's personal droid, R2-C6. However, this Delta-7 had been modifed by Arth to contain an astromech slot, similar to one of an ETA-2 Actis. It also had a Class 5 hyperdrive, and an enhanced weapons system, which could fire a volley of plasma continously.

You're right it does look like mine....
I think the red looks nice, and the shape is really good too!
But the "fin" is really tiny... looks like it's undernourished...

Re: Arth's Delta-7
I think I need to hop on the bandwagon and create V3 of Reese and Seph's starfighter.
Nice work, Alfy!

I also added a 2x2 round plate underneath the Astromech droid, and it has exactly the same amoun tof layers the bosy has. Unfortunately, I can't do one for the legs, and the droid can't fit in there. It'd be cool if it did though.
This was actually based off Plo Koon's JSF, as he's the coolest Jedi IMO. (Anakin sucks, Obi-wan's a nagger, Yoda's just plain odd, Windu is a pain in the @$s, ect.)

You know, you can use my "fin" technique if you want....
And also the slopes that are on the sides of the "fin" aren't thick enough... use the wedge brick to make it thicker...

Re: Arth's Delta-7
It doesn't look right, compare it to another Delta-7... that's the best reference...
It's what I use to make it look as good as possible.

Re: Arth's Delta-7
You mean I should add that slant piece under it?
Other than that, I see no difference.

Re: Arth's Delta-7
Nice work! Not bad at all.
I prefer the Delta 7 to the 7B. The original 7's, I could only imagine they would be a lot sleeker and able to move through space and atmospheres a lot better without having a cumbersome astromech unit. Also, it would be annoying having a unit in front of your field of vision. A non-truncated astromech unit would add weight and change the feel of the ship.
I notice that Plo Koon probably preferred the Delta 7 Starfighter as he was killed in one during the Clone Wars (check out ROTS, it is obviously a Delta 7). Unless of course, it was all he had available to him. It would make sense to use the original for combat.
The 7B does have an advantage if you want to have an astromech on hand when you land somewhere.

Re: Arth's Delta-7
Yeah.. it looks flimsy without something underneath it....
And are you going to update the "fin"? It kinda bothers me...

Re: Arth's Delta-7
No, the fin is supposed to be thin. That's from reference pics and the official sets.

Re: Arth's Delta-7
I think the fin looks fine the way it is. Actually, no fin would be much better, in my opinion. The official set's fin looks too big and unwieldy.

I also think the fin looks okay. I like the colours best. (The red again)

Nice! Just as cool as Thunder's, but the red makes it a little bit more special.
