AAW Monday: Felucia Outpost

When Felucia was invaded, the 101st was asssigned to help out. They set up several outposts. A lone elite trooper stands to guard a outpost.

OK. First off is credit time! 25% of it goes to TB, for his turret, which I based mine off. The remaining 75% goes towards DY, for his Felicia guide. I know the trooper is a tad messy, but that is just me .

Aki, this has a lot of potential to be a great MOC but isn't it yet. The real Felucia feeling (enormous flowers and bushes) is missing.

I don't have any massive baseplates. I tried to add bigger flowers, but I didn't have much peices. Lets just say that some plants were burnt away when the venators landed .

Its a tad too colourful, and to many trans pieces IMHO, as plants aren't translucent. Anyways, nice try and good effort

I guess you never seen Episode III, played SWBFII, or played The Force Unleashed.

There are alot of plants on Felucia that are transparent.

Interesting! One word, though. Is the Auto Turret Republic or CIS? That way he can hack into it if it's CIS and give that turret a record of... Poor marksmanship.

EDIT: Ah, I see it's supposed to be a Republic Outpost. I call that a little shanty; how about some shelter?

I think the top of the torrent needs a little more armor, like a dish, on the top. Other then that it looks good!

Ok maybe because there aren't that many planets because he legion had to make room for the torrent, or they could have gotten rid of the man-eating planets.

Aki the reason 'I have not much pieces' is not working since I know it isn't true. You say it at every MOC...

Well my bad! I just don't! I tried to make some big plants, but they were rubbish.

I actually think this is one of your better MOC's. I really do like it.

Hmmm, probably your best Moc yet! I would put some dark green, and gray on the baseplate, and add some trans studs here and there.

Nice MOC! I love the use of pieces. Better than your other one.

Well I scrapped that, the only reason I made it so horrible looking is because I had a piece limit!

Oooh! This must have slipped under the radar.

So, the turret is nice, the landscaping is okay, I've seen better and would like some taller foliage, and the trooper is too messy for my tastes.

Throw in some bigger fungal/plant growths in there, and give it a darker feeling with brown, dark blue, and dark green and it'll look more like Felucia. Good start though.
