Commander Kite WIP With updates
I haven't decide exactly how i'm going to do him yet so any ideas are welcome. Instead of painting the helmet i'll use decals so it's more symmetrical. Stay tuned for more! And again, any suggestions welcome.
I'm still debating wether to use a decal for his weapon sling or rubber band.
He can be seen here: http://www.starwars.com/clonewars/comic/
On page thirteen.

Good luck on that, and I would suggest to use paint or markers because you probably could not find a decal, and it would probably be hard to make a decal just right for the helmet and what not. But that is just me.

I'm making a decal. And the helmet shouldn't be too tough except for where the lower yellow goes.Jeremy012399 wrote:Good luck on that, and I would suggest to use paint or markers because you probably could not find a decal, and it would probably be hard to make a decal just right for the helmet and what not. Update:
I want your opinion on his body decals, would orange be better?
I already did the helmet decals but that'll be shown in a bit.

Re: Commander Kite WIP With updates
OD I would go with a little darker tone on the yellow If I were you.
Re: Commander Kite WIP With updates
Another update:
You probably can't tell but It's a darker shade. Better, no?
I used a tiny bit of GIMP for the smudges.(That's the only thing I use GIMP for)

Actually I can tell OD.
The first one was WAY to light. Now it is perfect!

Were the white streaks on the arms intentional? To give shiny effect?

Looks great, but I think the markings on the torso should be a little bit darker, and shouldn't you put some markings on the back of his torso?

Take a look at him in the comic, he has one white stripe down the middle.Axel wrote:Were the white streaks on the arms intentional? To give shiny effect?
