SCARSHIELD BATTALION-SECTION 12-7-A MISSION TO SULLUST
-RELAYING DATA-
The Scarshield Battalion has been assigned to lead the assault on CIS Mining and Droid Processing facilities on the planet Sullust, the exterior of the planet is blanketed by a toxic atmosphere that kills any organisms that require oxygen, luckily for the clones, their armor works just fine in keeping out the toxic gasses. As they descend to the rendezvous point, they are immediatly shot down by CIS A-A guns, as they finally make a crash landing near some mountains, with their LAAT in pieces, the Scarshield Battalion must fight for their lives if they want to make it off of Sullust in one piece.
NOTE: This is not intended to be OMG SUPAR AWESOME, it is merely a storyline starter, and please excuse the crap-tastic backround.

Re: A Warm Welcome
I like the wreakage! This is pretty good, but the rock top that is toppled over looks odd. If it's supposed to be like a rocket hit the rock, maybe make it shattered more, with grey bricks all over. Nice job over all.
Re: A Warm Welcome
Nice! The 2 AATs look awesome!
Nice debris everywhere...
Ya know, you can download GIMP so you can put speech bubbles like the rest of the 44th...

Re: A Warm Welcome
Rocks were a last ditch effort to make the place seem rocky-ish, because it is .
How would speech bubbles be appropriate here at all?

Bleh, who needs speech bubbles? I sure don't.
It's ok, but as you said, it wasn't intended to be OMG SUPER AWESOME.

Re: A Warm Welcome
I'll fix it....eventually.....
It was just collecting dust, might as well do something useful with it.

Same with mine, I just like looking at it. It's hard to put in a MOC since it is usually in the air most of the time. I might make an LAAT/c with it just for kicks.

Re: A Warm Welcome
Here's my advise Uberlag.
I know you're getting back into the game, so here's some help!
-Rocks look out of place where they are.
-Make debris look like the feel from something. I usually build a kinda crude ship and then destroy it so trhe pieces fall logically.
-Make the clones in cover. It's not logical to see them running towards the tank. You could of had some nice behind debris shots.
Overall though, I really like it as stated before!

Re: A Warm Welcome
I'm not going to go back in there and re-destroy it, plots got to move on, you know.
Things will get better from here, I just needed a starting point.

Re: A Warm Welcome
Not bad at all, but that clone commando ringing that droids neck is pretty cool! Looking at the pieces, the scene is pretty good overall.

Re: A Warm Welcome
Umm... That is unrealistic; one larty can't hold 576 men, not now, not ever...
Maybe an Acclamator, though.

He only sent a squad from his battalion. We all agreed that sending squads would be more appropriate for a mission like this.
