A droid is a machine that works independently from control! That's why they are special!

I have been thinking of that recently and DP has a good point. It is a republic droid and they usually dont have self-controlled weapons.
But still... I know what you mean TB.
Also I think DP meant from a control room not on the droid.

Did the Republic use droids?

I mean for battle, the GAR used their clone troopers, and I know they did use droids for medical and manual-labor work... but I am not sure they used the in fighting...

Emphasis on the word, private. It wasn't used by the army, but private employers who supplied the Republic. They wanted to protect from sabotage by the Seperatists.

It's realy cool a bit too much like a crab droid with an intrestig colour theme but still cool!
But also looks very fragile...

That's a very nice design! I really like it. There are some really great droids being made for the droid contest, and in my opinion this is one of the best.
