Mustafar (Battlefront)
I'm planning to make a large Mustafar mining facility completely based on the map in BF2. I am going to start soon with the bridges on the far right of the map.
My poor sketch:

...old times...
Should be fun, I loved that map. Too bad SWBF2 broke on me though...

This could be a pretty good MOC. I loved that part in Mustafar on BF2. I'd wait for the enemy to cross the bridge, then shoot the controls so the bride would fall. Good times....good times....
Can't wait to see it, Jameseh.

Re: Mustafar (Battlefront)
Man, its times like these I wish, I actually had a baseplate.... oh the maps I could attempt to make... Well, the sketch looks good. May I suggest making the bridges 6 studs instead of 8. In the game, they are very narrow.
Re: Mustafar (Battlefront)
I'm using those 8x8 grill things, using the outer studs for the mini walls and support connections.

Whoa, I think that it's been atleats 5 months since I've last played SWBF2.
Good luck making the map.

I thought that map was pretty easy!
Looks like it could be a good MOC if executed properly!

Mustafar is one of the coolest packaged maps that came with the game. I love playing it.

So you saw my advise eh?
Build the lava sideways like I did. Do you have enough orange, red and yellow for it?

Easy? The only part that was easy was blowing Gizor Delso off the side of that platform!
Back on topic, I'm gonna do something like this. SWBF2 is the best. Star. Wars. Game. Ever.

Oh, yeah, I love playing it in free play(or skirmish, or whatever) but in the campaign it was for some reason very difficult...

Re: Mustafar (Battlefront)
Yeah, the campaign was definately one of the hardest for me, as the damned droids kept respawning around the checkpoints. :|
And needless to say, my AI didn't do anything. But my favorite map on Multiplayer is Mustafar. Too bad it was a bit small though.

God, the Tantive IV is where all the 1337 players go, they always detpack over the stairs, gets annoying after a while.

Re: Mustafar (Battlefront)
Well don't play online, so I don't really know about all the "l337" places in BF...
Re: Mustafar (Battlefront)
The layout is cool can't wait to see how the bridge comes along.
I'd use an 8 by 8 peice
PS:Yeah BF2 is good but i'm a fan of the empire at war games.

In my opinion the ones who are constantly typing messages like scoper and packer are the biggest noobs. WTF would you else do with a sniper rifle? Try to hit someone far away without scope? And what else would you do with a pack? Put it down and admire it?
While I use them I don't use them all the time. Sniper can be pretty devastating in close combat but still...

I just go in with a machine gun rifle in the midle and die over and over because people come kill you from behind when your sniping.

I didn't say it wasn't effective in close combat...

Well, the way you said it made it sound like you were uneasy about it. OR, it could just be that pdragon was enthusiastically agreeing with you.
