What kinda rigging or set-up did you use??

Also, wouldn't a video camera work just as well in this case?

Maybe that's why you say my picture quality is good! You use a Webcam! I use a digital camera. Only a milimeter?

Yes. Any more and the pan gets choppy. Any less and it's too slow.
