L-AT-TE

This is my first relatively good sized MOC. The L-AT-TE was a legless version of the AT-TE. It was less venerable,could transport more troopers and could be easily modified to fit the needs of the environment the troopers where fighting in.
















Thats what it used to look like. I scraped it to build my AT-TE again.

I would have put this into the WIP section so we could help you with it...

It doesn't look too bad, look around MOCpages and Bshelf for inspiration!

Yeah, it's a rehashed AT-TE , but, the shape is there. You've got to widen it up some, make the cabin seem narrower, add some side guns, and greeble the top.

Ok well maybe a mod could move this for me then eh?


I see what you are saying sial I need to get another AT-TE on clearance then to make it way better.

It's not that bad, but it might have belonged in the WIP section. But, if you scrapped it, I guess there's no point in giving you advice...

The second one is the one that I was tying to make mine look like..I failed big time.

Just so you know, it's UT-AT, not UA-AT...

Not bad, but most of it is from the AT-TE, like you said earlier. Make it a bit smoother in some parts, and add the skis.

I like it DB don't know why you think its bad.

Well, it's lacking a couple features, and it was made with almost all the features of the AT-TE.

Very good start! The AT-TE cockpit design fits, but scrap everything else from the AT-TE and come up with a new design.

But that speeder bike is a piece of art! I love the curves in it. Please tell me it isn't the one from the solar sailer...

Not too bad, it is basically just an AT-TE body though.

So you're gonna rebuild this into the AT-TE again?

I always find that hard, because if I scrap something, I never put it back together...
(mainly because when I scrap it I mix the parts with my collection!)

I built this scraped it and rebuilt it in the course of one day TB...

Oh, I see...

No wonder it doesn't look all that great, I usually perfect my MOC over the course of a few days..

Yea same here. I really liked it at first then I realized it was kinda looking crappy and I could use the AT-TE more then this. I'll still include this in my legion when I make it. I'll give it a new name too..the legless AT-TE.

Ok I renamed this. Because everyone was saying it looked like a AT-TE. So it is now the L-AT-TE (L stands for legless).

Nice. I'd never scrap my AT-TE (I love it too much) but I see what you've done and I like it. Although the yellow (or is it white?) technic bar sticking out of the back is obtrusive. I'd fix that.

Thanks. I rebuilt my AT-TE so I might never be able to fix this.
