AT-XT, a battlepack alternate

Here's my entry for the Battlepack alternates guild build: An AT-XT.
According to wookiee, it stands at 10 meters, or five minifigs stacked up. This IS to scale. I think.

The mortar launchers (there's one on the other side too)

The rotating shield generator. I'm not sure if the real one actually spins, but I think its a cool feature.

The underneath of the generator

The top opens up.

The inside is pretty roomy.

Not only does the top open, but the front too! I prefer opening it this way cause its easier to get the fig out.

What do you think?

Not bad, but for something of that size, I suggest adding something to the legs, it looks a bit... err...

If you have any parts leftover, use them, if you don't, you're allowed 2-4 extra pieces.

I would use your own collection and beef up the legs though! This is so awesome!!

You do know that I will now have to go and try to build this right? Ok well I'll mod it to make it mine. And I can add the cockpit windshield thing.


Its awesome though. I like the simplicity of it and well it was done. This will get my vote as of now.

It is actually more sturdy than it looks.... and I want it to be 100% battlepacks. I built it with three of em' BTW. I'm gonna buy three more and build another one.

How many BPs did this take??

Yeah.. I had a bunch of flick-fires left...some technic pins...

I'm really proud of it. Its my first decent walker. I think it turned out great.

Yeah I made a walker out of two battle packs, but I have to say this one outranks mine by far.

Aside from the legs it's good; at first I thought it looked blocky but the comparison pic helped.

It just needs a cockpit now.

WTF? It does. What do you think the top half of the walker is?

No. Not an AT-XT. I fail to see the resemblence aside from it having a cockpit and two legs. It's an okay use of the battlepack pieces, but not that impressive in general .

I like this pdragon though a bit blocky.

Well I meant it is simple as in not over the top if you know what I mean. But yea now I know what to do with all the bp's I'm gonna get for the clones. My legion can use this...if you don't mind PD I'll give you full credit.

I know what to use for the windshield dude. Its the same thing as used in the Exo Force sets. You know what i am talking about? Its the clear version of the things that make up vaders meditation chamber in the ISD.

Exactly what I had in mind; basically the same piece that is the windshield(s) on the Tumbler from Batman.
