The yellow circle is cut out. Stick that on his neck. Then you have the front and back. The bottom parts on the left and right are arms, the top left and right are legs.
What a noob...
Show me with that picture and arrows pointing to where to put it. I know where the torso goes.
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
That is not actually a decal. It's meant to represent a a style of trenchcoat. The Yellow hole is cut out to slip over the neck, leaving a yellow upsidedown triangle which represents the "chest". The 4 dark holes on the side flapes are cut out and wrap around the sides of the torso. The arms are then re-attached through those holes.
This is how it looks when put on (found in the same gallery!!!):

Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Hey guys, here's another decal I made, it's probably what a CW 187th trooper would have looked like so I want to know what you guys think.
I give credit to CG's phase 2 187th design and to someguy577 for the original design.

As I said, I think I can't do Rex; but here's Stone!
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Admin - Don't quote pictures! Stop testing me with these mini nuisances!
That looks really confusing with all those parts. It's very mind-boggling.

Wow CG!
That must have been a pain to measure and make sure the ration between the body and the other parts were correct!

Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
I got another request CG!
This.
In a slightly brighter version than the flesh skin please! Thanks!
It's just a small recolor of decals you've already made, so it shouldn't be a problem. Especially not for you.

At the start, perhaps, but now it's very easy to do, as all my decals are on the same torso scale.
And DP - nope, no problem. Even the helmet decals are done! (Just in a different colour).
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Hey CG think you could make a 501st CW decal for me? And a CW shock trooper decal?

Surely the CW shock troopers would have been the Coruscant guard? We had this debate when I was first being asked for decals, so I guess history repeats itself...
But yes, sure thing.
On another note..I've been experimenting with Paint.net recently, to see how good it is for clone decals.
This is one of the results:
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
The line doesn't look very exact and, I see some pixels that were missed in the coloring.
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Oh sorry cg I forgot about that argument. Thanks for making them.

Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Yeah, the line is off in the decal you made on Paint.net...

Probably because it's isolated from TLC's printed version; a sort of experiment decal. It's nowhere near as good as Illustrator - for obvious reasons. But I like it.
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Here is the CW shock trooper for you Darth Bizzle, I try to get the CW 501st trooper here today too.
I give credit to CG's 187th trooper because they have the same design and to someguy577 for the original design.

Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Well I feel bad now. I just spent all of my free time today and yesterday applying decals that I made in MS paint 'oh: . And now you guys are saying there's a better program . Naw I'm not all that mad but I would like to know where (forgive me for being noobish) to download this "illistrator" you guys were talking about.Chaotic Good wrote:It's nowhere near as good as Illustrator
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Adobe Illustrator is several hundred bucks... so you can't download it...

Wow that is alot of money for that program .
I guess the price is worth it though.
@CG: I need that rex decal for a custom clone that I'm making so I'm combining Commander Stone and Captain Rex. You can do it. I know you can.
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Try Paint.net...
That's a free one..
And before anyone asks where to find it...

Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
Before even clicking the link, is it found at www.paint.net ? Any way is it better than MS paint?Thunder-blade wrote:Try Paint.net...

Hell yeah almost anything is better that MS paint.
Re: All Decal Requests & Free Decal Images
What exactly is your definition of better( god I feel like such a noob ). Because I happen to like MS Paint. I'm really familiar to the interface and it's easy to use. But if Paint.net is "better I'l use it"foxrex101 wrote:Hell yeah almost anything is better that MS paint.
