Hatch Discovery Post-Apocalyptic Vignette

Here is the next in my set of Post-Apocalyptic Vignettes, this one taking place after this one

2 survivors find a small hatch and power generator. They open it up, and find that the hatch continues down farther than they can see. An abnormally large ladder appears to be the only way down.

Not all the deep links work. I can figure out though. I just have to go to flickr, and sorta search around.

In jpeg files, it has to end with jpeg so you have to get rid of the bit at the end.

Not a big fan of the post apocalyptic theme. No issues with the build.

It's just that post-apocolyptic, in other words, what's left after humans pretty much kill everybody off and level the earth, in an all out war. Kinda a weird theme in my opinion.

I really just like it because it doesn't have any boundaries. Star Wars could not look futuristic enough or something, modern could be too unrealistic, but Post-Apoc doesn't have any "rules."

Well it DOES kinda, it almost always contains soldiers, or military factions of SOME sort, usually some kind of ruin from human civilization, and sometimes how nature is reclaiming the landscape, after the near absence of humans.

Post-Pandemic would be better. Post-Apocalyptic suggests religious terms. If you're up on that, read Revelation a little closer. I think it's going to just be fallen angels.

I know there's a whole sub cult of Lego builders that build in this genera but it's a bit of a misnomer that's all.

Once again you're right Rook! I DON'T really like Revelation very much, very confusing, plus I don't like to think about the end of the world, kinda puts a damper on your day...

Right, especially if it's a violent, Earth shattering end. So I just don't think about it...

Post-After-A-Ton-Of-Nuclear-Bombs-Destroy-Most-Of-Human-Civilization-And-The-Remaining-Humans-Strive-To-Survive doesn't sound as good though.

It would also take a TON of time to type, even for the smallest MOC's.
