Boba Fett
Today, I made a purist Boba Fett With a brickbuilt blaster and jetpack. Keep in mind that while the helmet may not be 100% accurate it is purist and I am not planning to apply a face decal. On to the minifig.

Re: Boba Fett
Thats pretty good for a purist. I don't like the brown though (not the cape).

Re: Boba Fett
Technically, the Boba helmet that TLC makes is purist, seeing as Lego made it, purist is just using pieces made by TLC right?

Re: Boba Fett
But their helmet is completely accurate...and yours...well Boba didn't wear a motorcycle helmet..

Re: Boba Fett
Accurate except for the lack of color on the jetpack and the fact that it is one molded piece.

Re: Boba Fett
But TLC's isnt a motorcycle helmet and the jet pack color isn't a huge difference.

Re: Boba Fett
I like the jetpack and the blaster! I'm stealing...
The helmet is, I'm sorry, a wastein my humble opinion. Otherwise the fig looks fine! But the blaster could use a little more zing to it. It looks kinda bland from the front. I suggest putting a black lightsaber hilt on there to make it look more blasterly and less boxy. (you can find one in the Indiana Jones: Race for the Stolen Treasure set )
The helmet is, I'm sorry, a waste

Re: Boba Fett
I like the jetpack but I'm not a big fan of the blaster. It looks good though for a purist approach.

Re: Boba Fett
I actually like the side view of the blaster, but the top is to bulky. Just the way a 1x wide brick is I guess.

Why does Eighty-Oh have words in his post with a line through them??

He did, it wasn't as big as a minifig cape though.

Ohh, because I felt like it.
Also, Boba Fett is more heroic than Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Frodo Baggins combined! I think, if anything, a flying, resurrecting, masked, armored, knows-more-than-a-hundred-ways-to-kill-you-and-wants-to-try-them-all-right-now, pure ownage bounty hunter deserves anything more than to be called a superhero!

Re: Boba Fett
Should I make it smaller? All the cape is is a standard brown minifig cape folded in half.DarthPineapple wrote:Rook wrote:Looks good. Did he wear a cape?
He did, it wasn't as big as a minifig cape though.

What he said.
In my personal opinion the cape is fine. BUT, if you want to mod it, I would suggest using a bit of glue to fold the two corners back for a more compact and bunched look.

Re: Boba Fett
For my purist Boba Fett, I took the Limited Edition Cloud City Boba Fett and added a brown cape, (A Jawa cape would be MOST accurate) and used Jango's face, that's the MOST accurate Purist Boba Fett anyone could make.

*Sigh*
This MOC or the Lego one? The Lego one is very expensive so I just bought a magnet one for only 2 Euro.

Re: Boba Fett
You can do that, but the magnet one, just like most the other Boba's, don't have the printed arms, legs, and belt detail that the Limited Edition Cloud City Boba Fett has.
Here is the unmodified Boba Fett:
