Platypus Scout Starfighter
Presenting my first Spacey creation in a while now, the Platypus Scout Starfighter. (The name comes from the Racers mini cockpit piece I used in front of the cockpit). Basically, it's just a small swooshy fighter. in yellow and black.

It's pretty good! I like the black and yellow bricks here, it turned out well!
Re: Platypus Scout Starfighter
Simple small, compact, nicely shaped. Not overly "ZOMG WOW!!!!" ish, but it's simple and fun looking. Good work, but not incredible. Shape is the best part in my thoughts. The two prongs with the gun inbetween is well done!
Re: Platypus Scout Starfighter
It's not something you'd see everyday. But I like it. Somehow the overall design is nice. There's just something about it, taht makes it unique.
Re: Platypus Scout Starfighter
I don't know why, but I just don't like this fighter.... maybe its the obnoxious color scheme... Actually, maybe its the SNOT...I think its too thick. Maybe thin it out a little?
Re: Platypus Scout Starfighter
I like it! Its color scheme is good and I like the wings it has; they are big and bulky but in some way kind of cool.

nice
I see you used doors for a part of the hull, can you store things in side them.

Very exuberant colorwise; I like the wings in the back. For some reason though this reminds me of one of those Mars Mission alien crafts.

Re: Platypus Scout Starfighter
Thanks all, unless you said it's no good...
No, nothing fits under the door pieces, and the long thing is a refeuling probe. The gun is above and to the right of it.

It flows. The color scheme fits, as does the actual design. Summed up, it's pretty much awesome.

I like everything about it. Just one thing, do different colors. Nice overall shape.
Re: Platypus Scout Starfighter
Instead of having the probe extend so much, how about simply making it a 1x1 stud/hole for a pipe to be attached to? Since it's a mere snub fighter I'd expect it to land in a hangar to refuel, rather than say a freighter which would more likely use an extendable probe.

Cool-design, streamlined, and about 10cm long! I like it!

No Stone, they're superglued shut because he simply hates compatability.
Of course they open.

Thanks, it appears that most of you prefer this to the Wallowing Robin...
As I've said before, the doors don't store anything, they're just there for detail. The refueling probe is there because I like it. That's all there is to it, really...

I guess I kinda did sound like an idiot. But no one else was commenting on the compartments.

This is a perfect example showing how awesome sleek things don't always come in big packages. Great work Jake!

Re: Platypus Scout Starfighter
Yellow lobster?
We all know that the colour scheme fits because we see it in our every day lives (wet cement fences, anyone? crime scene tape?).
P.S, don't post in old topics. I know it's not two weeks old, but you shouldn't do it. It's rude .
