Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
The long war known as the Apocalypse, almost ended mankind as we know it. Anti-gravity had been discovered, and instead of making conventional items such as flying cars, people wanted to make more versatile weaponry. The world entered a state of paranoia as alliances were broken and freedoms were demolished. The world had finally woke up the slumbering beast known as Doomsday on Febuary 25th, 2113, and the world became a cold, nearly-lifeless rock. A war veteran, named Neil Johnson, decided to explore the toxic wasteland formerly known as planet Earth to see if there was any signs of organized civilization.
Thanks to DP for the backpack cutting technique, snd to whoever it was who made the backwards pilot torso technique! Enjoy!

Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
Very sweet dude! I asume you love that hand-on-gun-as-a-clip technique too? The whole torso/helmet/legs combo is great!
Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
@Muffin: You can either buy the Y-wing that came out 2 years ago, or http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?invXrefID=17498 ...
@667: Thanks! And yes, it's a brilliant technique!

He really looks like a real war veteren. I like the legs and the back pack the most.

Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
His face doesn't really scream war-vet to me, but hey, it's your call. The rest of the figure is very well done!
Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
The hand on the gun is really good! Didn't notice it at first.
I really like everything about him, can't find any faults.

Where the (sensored) do guys get this from!? I've always been told that the apocolypse was in 2012. I mean seriously!

No, the end of the world as we know it is in 2012. And most of these post-apoc idea are from assorted sci-fi movies and such.
Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
I don't believe the 2012 doomsday prophecy, simply because there has been countless doomsday predictions.

Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
Neither do I, but it isn't a doomsday prophecy. It's the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT!Jedi Joe wrote:I don't believe the 2012 doomsday prophecy, simply because there has been countless doomsday predictions.

It's Al Gore ranting his fat head off. Don't listen to him; he's a piece of rubbish.

Looks like a well-made desert soldier, and the helmet suits his uniform well.

Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
I'll aghain strongly advise changing the face. Looks far too happy to have just been in a intense and awful war that ended the lives of most of his species.
Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
I'd recommend using that old police chief head; it may be yellow but it's a much better fit.

While I don't always agree with you Joe your sense of humor is spot on. Always
Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
I think the new face is great. It adds to the pain and suffering this man has gone through. He looks more war hardened. Great update!
Re: Neil Johnson - Apocalypse Veteran
Joe, Joe, Joe...
Anyways, it's good, but the colors could be darker (Recon Team outfit, black/gray outfit), and like I said over Xfire, change the headpiece to Ep3 Skywalker w/ Headset.
