Custom Lightsaber

Ok, I put this post on FC, but some of you don't go there, so I'll put it here too:

Does anyone know a few ways of making a custom lightsaber out of lego pieces? (I said a few because some pieces I might not have or am not willing to cut)

Do you mean lifesize, or for your minifigs?

Thats tough to do, considering it has to be pretty small.

If you arn't going purist, then part modification or fabrication is probably the way to go.

There is no way you could make a minifig lightsaber the purist way.

Yup. Totally agreed right here.

There's no brick small enough for a minifig to grasp and stich it between two smaller bricks just the size which also don't exist in which the lightsaber blade can fit in.

Trust me, the Lego brick serves the purpose fine.

Actually there is but it is not a straight up lightsaber but if you want the saber comeing from a pole it is great.

Aridar has shown me some cool lightsaber's he built.
