Re: Torso Decal vs Torso/belt Decals
Are you making the same mistake as me ryan? Yes you are. Don't dig up old topics. It isn't bad, but it is very annoying . I made the same mistake, but some witty banter can somtimes save you .

We don't (at least I don't) consider you a real "newbie" anymore Aki, you are actually contributing to the site now.

You don't? Yay! One one site I have been on, you need up to 100 posts to no longer be a newbie! But I am in the seventies, and I am no longer a newbie! You guys are great!

Legorevolution is right! It looks better with belt!legorevolution wrote:I don't think there's much of an argument... the decals are definately needed on the belt and upper leg. It provides so much more detail, and looks to boring without it.

I like the belt. It looks really odd without the belt.

There... I had to update the picture links
2 questions
Which would you prefer?
is the extended belt design desired? yes or no?
upper leg design, desired? yes or no

Well the ones with the extended belt look better because the other ones have a plain white belt, while most of us have a black belt, but danget I should have asked you for an extended belt on Commander Dan! >.<

Re: Torso Decal vs Torso/belt Decals
I don't extend mine to the belt. But i do use leg decals all the way to the top. That's just my opinion.

Re: Torso Decal vs Torso/belt Decals
The belt does look a lot more spiffy. When you apply your decals and your sealant to them, when you push the legs forward, does the decal break off? Thanks.

Nope. My figs are all fully posable. Just ask Garet6, he loves the Deviss that's he's using.

Re: Torso Decal vs Torso/belt Decals
I'd go with the legs on the second one, but the helmet on the first one.
Sorry if this is really old news, but for some reason the glossy helmets are just unattractive to me.

Re: Torso Decal vs Torso/belt Decals
Let's put it this way. On the airbourne trooper, the first helmet gives it a simple Lego look, while the second is more detailed. I'll leave it up to you to decide which is better.

I know; that's what I said. I'd prefer if they weren't all glossy. May I ask how gloss increases detail? I can see there are some details on there that aren't on the plain version but why aren't they on the plain version?

Re: Torso Decal vs Torso/belt Decals
The gloss might be from the water slide decals, or it might be a change in resin casts. Wuzzupbob?
