Harbinger-class Heavy Battleship
For those of us native to MOCpages, you might know of a group called the Coalition of Planets. I'm one of the leaders of that group... Anyways, for those of you familiar with me, you might know of my Harbinger-class battleship, the short and bulky grey thing, which is Warhammer 40k and Battlestar Galactica combined... Well, I made it longer, and I have yet to post it on MP.. So I thought I'd put it up here. Enjoy...
Before anyone says, it's not supposed to be detailed and pretty and colorful. I'm going for the opposite. The C.O.P. guidlines, that only I and one other person actually follow, state a bland grey look is the way to go. Therefore, it's a bland grey. Second, this is a battleship, not a cruise liner. It's armored against other attacks. Why would anyone make a spindly war ship, like a Recusant, if sheilds weren't avaible? You'd cover up all the weak parts with armor. As I have done here.
So, I repeat, this is supposed to be bland, undetailed, and uncolorful. It's a warship, asthetics aren't too important when fighing enemies of the state.

Pretty nice! I get the general feeling of it and and the first shot is really well taken. The detail is great and you managed to get almost everything perfect.
Re: Harbinger-class Heavy Battleship
I suggest adding different sized guns on the front, maybe a 1x3 then a 1x1 with a lightsaber to make the lightsaber stand out more. All you have to do then is make to more. I also suggest some ariels on top, a big one, a lightsaber blade-sized one, ect. Also Where it goes down by 1 stud at the front you could add some trans-blue plates for a bridge.
Other than that it's awesome!

Re: Harbinger-class Heavy Battleship
It's pretty sweet, but in my opinion, a battle ship isn't a battle ship without a nice defined bridge.

That is pretty nice. Very simple.

@ Axel: So every 'wounded' pilot can conveniently crash his ship into it? /me nods at Arvel Crynyd
As for the ship, the repetition in the build adds an interesting detail to it.
Congratulations on copying Axel, Tredge.

Thanks very much. I didn't know what to say so I just copied him.
My brain sometimes freezes and then I don't know what to type.

Exactly. It's a warship. The only bridge is deep within the armor. BSG style.
And why does everyone see detail on this? I mean, thanks for all the comments, but really, I don't see that much detail in it... Maybe style, but no details....
