482 Heavy Artillery Cannon
Manned by a single infantry soldier, the 482 Heavy Artillery Cannon is a very compact and light-weight way to deliver more firepower.

Re: 482 Heavy Artillery Cannon
It looks really cool but from here it's hard to tell what makes it lean upward, besides the studs .
Re: 482 Heavy Artillery Cannon
It's one of those pieces that tilt forward and back. I can't really explain it.
Re: 482 Heavy Artillery Cannon
I have to agree with Xion. Perhaps give it a repulsorlift system.

Re: 482 Heavy Artillery Cannon
No I do know it's a tilting hinge piece but what I meant is like hydrolic legs.
Re: 482 Heavy Artillery Cannon
It doesn't really look smooth or appealing. I guess it's alright but it could use some work.
Re: 482 Heavy Artillery Cannon
It looks pretty good CT44 but it looks a lot like Sialboat's field piece gun, if you based it off of his design you should probably give him credit.

Y'know, what lets landspeeders and speeder bikes hover over the ground? It's a system of gravity control in a distinct area allowing whatever may be in that area to hover over the ground.

No... It really doesn't resemble it at all. And thanks for assuming CT's dishonest...

I think, it looks great, the back, using the ladders, everything! however, it's missing something, the leg, but something else.. not 100% what though

I'm not saying he's being dishonest, I'm just saying it looks like Sialboat's design and if he did base it off of it then he probably should give Sialboats credit and if he didn't base it off of it that's fine.

By assuming that he based it off of Sial's design, you're assuming that he's not telling us that, and that he is thus dishonest.

80-0, your asuming a bit to much there. Can't someone give a suggestion without it being in insult?

80, everyone says that, originality plays a large factor in MOCs.
Onto the MOC - it's plain, but how does it get around? 12 men haul it somewhere?

I think the key word here is 'if'.
Therefore: 'It looks pretty good CT44 but it looks a lot like Sialboat's field piece gun, if you based it off of his design you should probably give him credit' as opposed to just 'It looks like Sialboat's gun piece, so give him credit'.

AlphA is right, it needs some way to move around, or maybe a ship or something could drop it off.

@ Alpha: Right you are.
That's why I recommended a repulsorlift system be applied.
@ Axel: Your hypothesis is accurate.

Re: 482 Heavy Artillery Cannon
Bah, no repulsorlifts. Don't you know how most artillery guns are.
You're really not supposed to drive guns around like a buggy. They've got frontal wheels, but only so they can be towed onto the field. I'm sure guns like this would have some sort of repulsorlift unit, but not strong enough to field it without a skiff or other transport.
Yeah, yeah, so it looks like mine. The only thing he took from it was the actual gun, and the 1x6 inverted slope beneath it, however .
