I recently watched (and loved) Serenity. While I wouldn't consider myself a full fledged browncoat, I was inspired to make some MOCS and am for sure going to check out Firefly. This is my mini Serenity. I'm pleased with most everything but the head and neck areas, but my lack of photography skills do take away a bit of the actual look of my MOC. As usual there is a bit of a trade off between detail of a unique ship and small scale, but as I said. I like the way it came out. I even managed to include the rotating thrusters! Smile

I think it's really good Smile . I saw the movie but didn't understand it so I didn't enjoy it. But anyways this is really good for accuracy, especially the side engines Smile .

Splendid job. I don't know what the ship looks like, so I don't think I'm properly qualified to opine on the matter. However, I do like very much some of the techniques you've employed here Wink .

I agree about the head not being exact, but the rest of it's pretty sweet, if you ask me. The mixture of colours isn't exactly to my liking, but the design makes up for it.

Perhaps rotate the piece you used for the cockpit (the main dark bley one) upside down, put a bley cheese wedge on it, and leave that as the cockpit.

Anyhow, it looks great, especially the side engines.

Nah it's a really good min, better than PD's and Tekka's.

Yes, they are much better. The side engies look thicker and better and the overall shape is nice. Well done!

Glad to know at least one Serenity fan (hopefully the others too) on the site doesn't hate me for the inaccuracies. Razz
Last night I also whipped up a Reaver camoflauged version with some color changes and five extra pieces.
