Lieutenant Thire.
Aye, Thire - with, of course, his pauldron and waistcape by MMCB.
This counts as a WIP because the only thing left to be made is the visor - the hardest part!
Still, do let me know how it looks so far.
Update!

It's a very good minifig, so far, loving that dark red, but...
That's what I'm interested in .

Re: Lieutenant Thire.
Various ideas come to mind - cutting and gluing an Arealight visor, cutting, gluing and painting a TLC visor, or waiting for AL to stock those new CW visors.
Three choices, the first of which hasn't worked too well.

Sounds like a plan. But it's pretty good, can't wait to see the finished product!

Sorry to sound like a complete n00b, but what is AL?
The figure is spot on, everything looks tidy and very accurate, very nice work!

Arealight.
CG, I think option two is your best bet. But remember to sand down the bottom of the visor before adding clay or whatever so that it isn't too thick.
Re: Lieutenant Thire.
Wow, even if TLC had made one just like yours, yours would still be better.
A-fricking-mazing.

Re: Lieutenant Thire.
You know you can actual use this kind of lego visor for his microbonculars, it looks like it and you can put it on the helmets, you can just cut off the antenna and color it if you need to.

Oh and yeah the design looks great CG.

Thire didn't have a waste cape, his pistol holsters were attached to his armor.

Yeah I know, everyone thinks that since Thire has a pauldron on he also has a kama on but he doesn't, but that's reasonable, usually clones with pauldron do have kamas too, Thire is like the only clone yet to just wear a pauldron.

I have that piece, and it doesn't actually fit. It nearly cracked. You've clearly seen JPs' Custom Minifigs' one, but I believe he modified it slightly so that it could fit. Unmodified, it doesn't actually fit.

O.o
Sorry bout what the hell does that have to do with this?
Hey CG you could always use that technique I got from Failpages.
Re: Lieutenant Thire.
If you mean your visor technique; tried it, but it doesn't quite look right.
Plus I cut the bar about a millimetre too short!

Actually I was able to get that visor to fit on to one the helmets and it was not modified, it was hard to put it on and the holes were a little ruined after I took it off but it still worked.

Update!
I've created the rough version of the visor. Lots of glue has been used.

It's the best direction to show the details for this picture.
Re: Lieutenant Thire.
No, the actual visor is on an upwards slant . Not the visor and it's mountings which allow you to tilt it up or down, the glued on visor.
It's messy, but I'm assuming your going to sand it down, polish it up, and paint it thoroughly .

Aye.
By the way, since that picture, I've actually pulled off the TLC visor parts and glued them on straighter - so that's not such a problem anymore.
