Panzerschrek WIP [updated, ammo finished, ready for paint]
Yes this is a little project I've started on. Making a Panzerschrek (Tank Terror), the WWII German equivalent of the American Bazooka. And no, this is not just a 'hey-I-put-a-blastshield-on-a-BA-bazooka-and-call-it-a-panzerschrek' kind of panzerschrek. No, this will have the full detailing the real one also has, and will also include modified BA rockets. Here are some reference pics:

Your first reference pic is forbidden.

I love the use of the paintball tube around the shrek's trigger. But for some reason, however... this just don't seem right in matte grey. The shreks I've seen are always beige .

1. That's not a paintball tube - it's a piece of metal wire. I like building things from scratch, y'know.
2. It will, of course, be painted in tan-beige camo.
@PD: It works now, no?

Dude, all you did was put a blastshield on the BA bazooka..
Nah, it looks great!

This pic has been on Explore's front page!
Never thought a WIP picture would be that interesting.

I'm wondering in what color I should paint it. Tan or tan/brown camo? Just need to finish the rockets and will get another pic up before it goes to paint.
I love scratch builds like this. Next I will make a WWII Bren LMG out of a BA LMG. Hey, I may even try to transform the BF StG 44 into a proper fig-sized one!

Sorry for the double post, but it's an update, so it's ok, right?
It's ready for paint now. Also finished the ammo.

Very nice! The ammo is perfect! And personally, I'd like to see a camp paint job.

Then get yer head outta the Afrika Korps!
Seriously, panzershreks have been in use in Europe, and obviously then in dark grey, and also in a wintry white snow camo, in addition to the aforementioned beige.
@ DP: I look forward to seeing the finished paint job.

Nope, they were all tan or tan camo as far as I know. Just like the bazooka was only dark green.

Do tell, what colour is that? Looks like tan camo to me...
Re: Panzerschrek WIP [updated, ammo finished, ready for paint]
It's camo, yes, but not sheerly tan. Give me a minute, I'll get you a dark grey one.
EDIT: I stand corrected; I didn't realize you meant camo, as opposed to a wholly tan coloring. Though there are for sure some grey panzerschrecks. I mean, look at this one!
It's grey, and almost white in some places!

That's actually so unfunny it makes me want to cry.

Looks good, but I take it you got the idea from a guy on BA forums? Because on the second page of the forums, a guy made one quite similar to this...minus the metal wire...and it was painted.

No, I just wanted to make one. Can you give me a link to it?
Also I found out that I have no tan paint so I'll have to buy that. Probably going to do that next week.

All that guy did is putting a blastshield of a slightly cutted bazooka. That is nowhere as cool as mine.

Totally agree with you there. Yours is more detailed and modified. And hopefully, your paint job will be better than his.
