World War II Faction (finally finished...)
Ok, I've forgotten to update my WIP completely...but here's my faction, I rather like it, it's not the best, but I think it represents WWII rather well. I was shooting for accuracy, not using "creative techniques" to make them look different. If you don't like them, tell me why and don't b!tch and moan about it.

Just the edge, I don't feel like resizing all of them after copying and pasting image links, just the edges of the plate is cut off, so say something about the faction itself.

I think these figs are amazing, they certainly resemble WW2. The only problem I have is that some of the American guns are brown and others are black but I don't know if they're supposed to be like that.

Just like Zepher, huh?
They're nice, though maybe it's cos I'm not into WWII.

Absolutely LOVING the figs. But the "Great War" is World War 1. Not 2.
They used Mark V's in WWI. THey used Shermans in WWII.

I KNOW THAT!!!! It says Great WarS! Meaning both of the World Wars...Ya know what...screw it, changing the name to 'World War II".
Re: World War II Faction (finally finished...)
Wait...
Isn't the "factions" here on CABG Star Wars related? Correct me if I'm wrong, I was never into factions in the first place.
Nice figs!

Thanks, and I don't think so, I mean, some of the factions aren't.

Hmm ok. It looks cool but as you're a modder you could have done a lot better.
Americans look great, but remove the Indy bags. Only medics had bags like that. To make a medic you simply have to paint 2 crosses on the front and back of helmet and one on his left upper arm. Also I think the sunglasses face is not very WWII-like. I mean, have you eve seen a private with sunglasses in battle? If you want a face with glasses use the flesh HP one and tape the back off with a sticker or whatever. It looks surprisingly well to a medic in Medal of Honor Pacific Assault.
The British. You've found out that those castle helmets make great brodies, but they aren't finished yet. Get a small trimmer or something (Those things are very cheap, you can have a good one for $10 or so) and carefully trim off those bobbles and lines on the top to get a smooth surface. You could also cut them with a knife but that's harder. Then trim at least 1/3rd off the round part, followed by a splash of tan paint.
The Germans are ok. The Dino 2010 torso is ok for Germans but also try some others, like this one. Also get rid of all those officer caps and replace them by either helmets or kepis.
And I think your Jeep is bad, I'm sorry, but it's just too plain and blocky. Maybe look around Flickr for WWII builders. Most have very accurate models.
Hope that helps!

Alright, I'll get started. The American Faction is fine. The M1 Helmets look good, only thing that annoys me are the sunglasses, so try losing those, like DP said. The British. Even though the brodies look great, I would still sand down the top to make it smooth. And sorry, but I don't like their uniforms. I've never seen british soldiers with leather jackets and white shirts. And the Jeep just fails. Sorry to say it like that. The Nazi's look fine, the dino '10 torsos look great, but also like DP said, change the officer hats into kepi's or more BF helmets.
All I have to say.

That tank seems to be a descendant of the Cylons. Nice build but I really don't like the small treads they look disproportional to the rest of the tank.
The minifigs look excellent.
