CPS Hammer of Thyr
It's a good bet not a single person here knows about an old MOC of mine on MP called the 3rd Fleet. It was some mini-ships, the biggest being one I called the Hammer of Thyr (pronounced Thire, like the clone commander). Basically, it sucked more than a CW episode all about Asshoka. I decided to remake it though, using months of improved skill and pieces dug up from the bottom of my tubs. Probably the best thing I've ever made, and one of the heaviest, coming in at two pounds:
You can see many more pictures here: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/145254
I don't feel like uploading about a million pictures here when I can just give you the link. Problem with links though, is that only about half the veiwers will follow it...

Re: CPS Hammer of Thyr
You take something sweet, you take something sour, and you end up getting something that tastes delicious.
You take something smooth, you take something rough, and you in the end receive one hell of an MOC. The contrast between the two is what makes this MOC so striking. She's big, she's bulky, and I just can't stop looking at her for that reason. I may like my women thin, but when it comes to ships, fatties are simply superb.
She sure is a beaut, and she sure would look nice along two or so of your smaller frigates . Bravo!

If GIMP would even install, or if photoshop would let me cut something out of the picture, I'd already be assembling a fleet. 'Tis a shame my Harbinger was distmantled to build this. Good thing is though, I know how to recreate it, I've had it sitting around so long.
DP: That gap thing is a large railgun. This ship is based partially on the ships of a certain Ian MacDonald on MOCpages, who does stuff in this style too. He likes oversized guns, and because I build in my own brand of his style, I had to have one too.

Freaking Epic.
The angles are nice, and the whole bulkiness of the ship works to your advantage! Nice work!

Wow, amazing work Awesome. The greebling and shape make this thing awesome! I smell an MOC of the month nomination.
Re: CPS Hammer of Thyr
Very nice job I have to say. It reminds me of a empire/zann consortium space shuttle in star wars empire at war.

Re: CPS Hammer of Thyr
If anyone cares, I built this communications ship with spare parts... My grey is truly exhausted now.
I think I shall use my 70 or so dollars of saved money and get some more slopes and other peices. I would like to make an entire fleet to go with this ship... The future is clouded, though. School gets exponentially harder as it goes on, so I've heard.

I like the ship, but it's a bit too boxy. I like how you said Ahsoka as "Asshoka" .

He's right.
I think it's one of the req's to get in the guild, that you call....'it' Asshoka.

Great Moc, AoS, I love the greebs, and the overall.....complete-ness of it.
That work?
Re: CPS Hammer of Thyr

WOW AOS, mini-scale ships are DEFFINETLY your specialty! It looks EPIC, and is quite reminiscent of the Rock Raiders ship, the LMS Explorer. Nice work!

It might be the second of third time I comment on this ship, but hey- It rocks!
The bridge and the "hill" below it looks great. Also, the engines looks nice.

I remember that, from that huge graphic puzzle book! Yes, it is reminiscent of it...
Very, very nice work AOS! It makes me think of a heavy duty cargo freighter, from X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter.

That ship looks amazing AOS, all that detail put into it makes it look awesome, that little frigate next to it looks cool too, how big would this thing actually be in the Star Wars universe and is this like a republic ship or CIS ship or what?

/Thump head on desk.
It's neither. It's for a made up faction, and there's a reason for it being 'CPS'. Also, it's in the other creations forum.
Onto the ship, it looks beastly. Even though she's fat, she's a beaut. Great job!

Never heard of it. This came from watching too much BSG, looking at too many Warhammer 40k pictures, and looking at too many ships by Ian MacDonald.

This ship is from the future of our own universe, the Coalition of Planets (thus CPS) is a very large expansionist empire, fighting against the fledgling United Nations of Earth, in what we would call the 23rd century. Because people are too lazy to make lots of aliens, we decided some unknown power put humans in the Coalition of Planets as well.
I'm not sure how big this thing is, but I want to say somewhere between Battlestar Pegasus and Malevolence. Maybe around 3 km.

Re: CPS Hammer of Thyr
Oh I didn't know this was from a made up faction, I know it says CPS but that doesn't really tell you that its not from the Star Wars universe.

However, I did provide a link to it on MP, which has it's backstory and many more pictures. The problem with providing the link though, is that no one will click it. Well, very few will click it.

Re: CPS Hammer of Thyr
Well I clicked on the link just at first I didn't look at the backstory but now that I looked at it, everything makes sense now, I've just never heard of this faction before so at first I thought this was something from the Star Wars universe.

Re: CPS Hammer of Thyr
Okay AOS, and anyone else, this is the LMS Explorer:
The bridge is what made me think of it, as well as the overall design. As they both are bulk freighters in form.
