Vampire 2 DHILANI Bomber
Vampire 2 DHILANI Bomber
Includes: 4 missile launchers, 8 ion & 8 sonic bombs, some vampire teeth (when deployed open up twin quad laser cannon bays, kind of like the attack mode for then X-Wing opening its S-foils), two speeders, a tool compartment, a weapons compartment, & a maintenance droid.

Rook, there's not much to say man. I love you, it's as simple as that Every creation of yours is flawless, and absolutely stunning.

Cool, but is it for your legion, or just a ship you made for fun.

Re: Vampire 2 DHILANI Bomber
Nice work, the wing curves are astounding and the overall shape nearly perfectly matches the real thing. But it isn't smooth...

Re: Vampire 2 DHILANI Bomber
There is a limit to how smooth you can physically get with LEGO, this is about as close as you're gonna get I think.

Oh no! If only they had made all Lego without studs! Wait that wouldn't work!

You could glue 'em to get them to stick together, kinda like Mega Blocks.

You could, but I might vomit every time I see a piece of Lego.

Right, then Mega Blocks would be dominant and Lego would be the current Mega Blocks.

Who cares if it is studdy? Studs are made to be shown! And this looks amazing Rook! Nice Job!

Exactly, a wise prophet once said, "to be lego, is to be studdy." The studs on models look good, while sometimes sleek designs are necessary. I think it's silly when people try to do everything without studs.
Re: Vampire 2 DHILANI Bomber
Studs, in my opinion, distract your eye from the creation. I like looking at a MOC, and thinking it could be passed off as a Model. Naturally, studs aren't always avoidable, which is why there is SNOT.

Yea, that is why I don't go "OOOOOOOO UBER AWESOME!!!!!!!!!" whenever Rocko posts a MOC, because his are studless .

Re: Vampire 2 DHILANI Bomber
What matters is the overall look of the MOC, with or without studs.

Re: Vampire 2 DHILANI Bomber
But the overall look is affected by the studs, or sometimes lack there of.

True, but in some cases, like the Imperial Star Destroyer, the studs compliment the overall look. While on Slave-I the relative lack of studs looks great as well. But one must remember this is LEGO after all.
