The Crimzon Panther
Hey,
A bit out of my zone here, as I barely make Moc's anymore, but for me to make a car, Well, that's unheard of! Seriously, I've never made a car before, EVER, So I present to you this, 1 1/2 hours work.
The Sand Fox,
.... "Far outside the city limits, lies the Wasteland. To make deep runs into the desert, to retrieve artifacts, or fend off attacking Mercenaries, We built series of vehicles. Made to withstand sweltering heat, scouring sand, and vicious terrain, these vehicles are the only thing that stands between the humble wasteland city, and certain death....."
Sand Fox
With twin hood mounted Chain guns, strong armor and a wide wheelbase, the Sand Fox is a capable and agile vehicle. Some specifications include:
Twin Carbon chain guns~ The more firepower the better!
Heavy duty search light~ For navigation in the dark
Kevlar enforced tires~ Withstand bullets
Twin filter intakes~ Filter sand from the fresh air duct
All wheel drive~ More grip and more traction
Nitrous injected rocket fuel mixture~ More speed
*edit*
I was at a mates house today, So I though I'd take some more pictures! I also Got some loot when I was there!
How the HELL did it get up there!?
*EDIT*
So, I have come up with a plan, I plan to make a few more of these, then host a compitition.
Anywho:
The Crimzon Panther
The brother of the Sand Fox, this vehicle was designed to be used as either a mission vehicle, or as an assault vehicle, With room for a second person, and able to be retrofitted with a swiveling chain gun on top, this vehicle proved to be an asset to the wastelanders! Some feature include:
Tow cable
One BIG chain gun
Ariel for communications
Armoured rims
Twin rocket boosters
Durable nose plating (bullbars able to be retrofitted too)
"...We will fight back..."
More photos when I upgrade my Flickr. (tomorrow-next day)

Sorry.. Doing that now, Anything to say about the actual MOC?
Edit, Is that any better, it's on photobucket so I'm not sure how to make them smaller on here, If you get that?

Re: The Crimzon Panther
No you have to resize them and upload again or use Flickr. And it' s hard to judge when you only see half of the vehicle.

Re: The Crimzon Panther
These pics are too small... Just make smaller pics when you take the pic or just resize them in Paint or Picture manager. But easiest way is to upload to flickr and get medium.

Re: The Crimzon Panther
It's a good build... but it really doesn't look like a SAND Fox. There's nothing on her that would make me believe she was a desert-based vehicle. It's color scheme isn't suited for that, it's got little that would protect the driver from the heat and sand (although, that's what I'm assuming his helmet is for), and I'd think such a versatile vehicle - fighting raiders and hunting down valuable materials, would have more equipment and cargo space inconspicuously tucked into it's slim frame.
It's a start and a good one !

Nothing special, but for some reason it doesn't really appeal to me. Though this thing would be awesome to ride.

Re: The Crimzon Panther
I guess the body just doesn't look "bulk" enough, maybe make it bigger to make it looks more powerful.
Re: The Crimzon Panther
Nice. Was this inspired by the vehicles in Jak 3, or to be more exact, the Sand Shark?
EDIT: Yeah, definitely Jak 3 inspired. The Wasteland part gave it away. As well as the "retrieving artifacts" and "fending off Mercenaries (Marauders, right?)"

Re: The Crimzon Panther
Love the shape, and colour is great, but maybe change the name too 'Jungle Fox' to make the colour accurate? Also, can a Minifig sit in it?

Thanks! I chose the colour so it could be seen in the desert, And a minifigure can now sit in it!
Update! Took some new pictures today! Also shows V2 of the entire car, in it's natural habitat!
