Three Sectioned Staff

Here's V1 of my three sectioned staff. The grips are a black Lego rod, sliced in half, and the links are the links on a Castle flail. I actually used wires to pin it all together and also used superglue to strengthen the hold.







As you can see, V1 is very rigid and not at all flexible.


And here is V2! The glueing is very messy, but I think the playability makes up for that. Everything is glued together.









Because of the way it uses chains, V2 is extremely flexible and can be held a variety of ways.



V1 and V2 are approximately the same length.

No, I've actually been planning to make this weapon for quite some time now, but after seeing Jet Li use on in a wushu movie last night, I knew I had to make one immediately.
