Block 28
Over the past few weaks I've been working on my biggest MOC to date. It's on a 32x32 baseplate, and is aproxamitly 63 studs high, at the tallest point. It's ment to be part of a city in the not to distant future, I tried to add a bit of a "retro" feel to it, while still having lots of high-tech lights and devices. It's got lots of little features, like elavators, flowers in the hallways, PO boxes, window cleaner and lugage cart, as well as large things, such as a bar, landing pad and antennas and speeders up in the air.
Theirs way to many pictures to put in one post, and I don't really want to have to pick only a few to show, so I'll give you an overall veiw and a link to the gallery.

Very nice. Awesome size and has decent detail and execution. A bit colorful but it's understandable.

Wow, looks pretty cool! I like how tall it is and you must have worked hard on it, indeed a bit colorful but hey, wouldn't it be a bit plain in two colors.

Hence the 'retro' feel to it. Sifted through a few of the pics, and am liking what I see. Overal feel: a bustling futuristic mall, filled with many busy people.

The matter of the fact is, you hit exactly what you desired to accomplish squarely on it's head. It's almost what you would expect out of a seedy Entertainment District arrivals center: gaudy colors, inane themed locations, and masses of people .
Splendid techniques have been used all throughout. The vines for street lamps, the triangular windows, just to name a few.
Bravo!

Quite good indeed! I think the colors mesh quite well, and add to the overall appeal. As Sial said, it's like a futeristic mall of sorts, nice work!

Thanks guys, the colours had to be mixed for anything this big, it took up most of my peices, but I'm sure the colours would be like that in real-life. I had alot of fun building this, because I could pretty much put in what ever I wanted, there was no real theme to go along with.
