Wing Fighter

The wing fighter was developed by a private corporation to be used by various legion in the GAR. The 82nd was lucky enough to be one of them.


Specs:
Speed: 10,000 KPH
Weapons: 1 Heavy canon. 10 Hellfire missiles.
Crew: 1 Pilot
Size: 10 meters long. 6 meters tall. 8 meters wide.
Hyperdrive: Yes
Shields: Two prototype Class Delta shield generators.

It looks nice. The wing and engine looks bit out of place, compared to eachother's position, though.
But the way the engine is made, and the nice little details (Such as the trans-green) make up for it.
Other than the strange positions, it's a pretty nice fighter!

I really like the Asymmetry here, although the Trans-green looks a Tad odd to me, and I think you should cover up the studs on the wing, but other than that this is a great fighter.

I approve of the moc, but not the specs.
Please, please, please tell me it's an atmospheric fighter... Even then, it's way too slow.

True. I shall change the specs to make it faster.

Its okay, but I think its a bit plain and lacks detail.

Good build; the only thing that irks me in the description is another OMFG PROTOTYPE SHIELD. Everyone wants to give their ships the coolest gear, but sometimes it gets downright repetitive.

Still too slow. If the Venator halts 20,000 km away from the CIS ships to launch fighters, and the fighters meet with droids at 10,000 km, it'd still be over an hour before the fighters reach the 10,000 km mark. Try a top speed of, say, 30,000 kph. In space, that's not much thrust needed. You could fit it into the engine of that fighter.

Yeah I agree with Heady, 600 Km/h is too slow for a star fighter, speeder bikes can go about 500 Km/h on planets, any way yeah its a pretty nice looking fighter DB, I like how you gave it that one wing design, is this going to be in future comics?

80-0 - It will have prototype shields if I want it to.

Very interesting design, and has a nice smooth shape. The only thing I don't like is the red and greens you used, they don't go well with the dark blue-grey body, IMO.

As for the specs argument (I can't help myself ):

SW uses a unit called MGLT/hour for measuring speed in space. X-Wings had a max speed of 100 MGLT/hour.
And what exactly makes these shields so different from others if they are prototypes?

Thanks. I couldn't find my gray studs when I built this so thats why I used green. But I can see what you mean about the colors not mixing.

Well for one you can see the shield when your ship takes a hit. Instead of forming a skin tight fit it is more like a buble.
