321st Legion Cold Assault Trooper

For my legion the 321st. The cloth on his side is custom so the figs arm could get through.

The torso fails. Hardcore. I advise you change it to the basic trooper armor, or snowie armor torso. Because in it's current state, it looks aweful .

The snow trooper torso would have been a bit obvious and boring. Basic clone trooper armor is even more boring so, I guess I'll just stick with a clone gunner torso.

So long as it isn't that rebel torso. That looks massively out of place .

No. I think the torso goes well with the brown cloth. Unless you have white cloth.

The torso doesn't go well, however, with the big white helmet....

That is true. And thinking about it........Why would a cold assualt trooper have brown, it doesn't work as camo for snow.

They do have a point. I mean, why not have a white armor on instead of brown?

Camo's really useless in the Star Wars universe, when you think about it. It's only in scenarios where higher technology is absent or disabled.

In a universe with droids, weapon-mounted optics packages, HUD monocles, HUD visors, HUD-equipped helmets, CommScan, Thermal Imaging, Electromagnetic Profilers, and all other sorts of state of the art detection devices - it's impossible that you'll be concealed for very long based on what color your armor is painted. That's why, I think, the Kamonians really didn't care if they painted the armor in white for their own personal viewing enjoyment. They knew that most camouflage patterns are going to be downright pointless, as everybody is going to see either your heat signature, your electromagnetic outline, your movements, your weapon radiating heat, detect the elements in your armor, or whatnot, if not necessarily you yourself through their various imaging devices.

However in some operations, it helps to have that added bonus, if only as a backup and a comfort mechanism .


Back on topic...

I like it. I just wish that there was something more to it... I'm not good with minifigure creation, so I can't really tell you what to add. Maybe some equipment for extended operating times in the enviroment, snow shoes, and unique weapons .

I suck at minifigure creation too. But might I just say that the cloth isn't camo it's more like a warm thick coat and I thought that adding it would make it look less like my basic legion trooper with a kama. I'll try to add more to it. Well time for Number 3 to come.
Edit: My SD card apparently got locked which I have no idea on what it means by that so I guess this is it for today?

Okay I'll just try to give this trooper a bit more backround to him instead of people going off saying why brown?

Okay this trooper was specially fit in for mountains. So they would have this kind of gear. The cape helped them stay from freezing and also served as a rocky texture to fit in with the surround rocks. The backpack held supplies if the trooper got lost in the wilderness which came with rations, 3 flares, and a tracking beacon. The sniper rifle was given because the mountains would be tough and firing from one mountain to another would be easy, this would also apply to roads going through mountains or a enemy below.

Do something with the helmet, it just looks too plain.

I have a good background look, (I mean you don't have to). Why not put a background of Rhen Var or Hoth?

@Gerrard I'll try but, I've never used sharpie, decals, or stickers.
@Kenobi I think the backround shouldn't be distracting so that you can just focus on the figure.

Well, there's a first time for everything.

Wow this trooper is boring, there is no real detail in him. He needs colour, and I'm really disliking the rebel snow trooper torso. If I were you I would remake this trooper by changing the torso and legs, fixing those back to clone body pieces and colour it in your legion colour.

I can't really intake constructive criticism of my first version... Look at the most recent pictures on page 1.

If you could change the cloth colour to that of something matching the enviroment that would be good.

The thing is I don't have every single color cape and to me this one looked the best.

This is where the fabric store comes in.

Buy a fabric similar to Lego's, and make a cape/kama/skirt.
