Even More WWII Vehicles...
I know, I know, these are probably getting on your nerves, but you'll like these, I promise!
They're actually both ones I've made before, but I've re-visited them both to make them realisticer. The first one would be my Deuce and a Half (Huge amounts of credit to Milan CMadge) and the second my Sherman, which now, almost looks sherman like.
The Deuce and a Half:
A look in the 'trunk/boot':
And then the Sherman.
I know it's still missing suspension, but I'm awaiting a BL for that. Otherwise, I think I've fixed everything else.
Enjoy! Comments are appreciated!

Re: Even More WWII Vehicles...
I love the truck. It is nicely built and has a WW2 feel to it. I just love it, nuf said. Now the sherman on the other hand I don't like as much. It too is nicely built to to me it doesn't feel like a tank. I would personally add about 2 studs on all the sides of the main body where the turret is. I would leave the turret how it is though. Its just too small for me. So maybe make the tank 2 studs bigger all the way around and it would look better to me. Its not that I don't like it, cause I do its one of the best I have seen, its just that it doesn't look big enough.

Re: Even More WWII Vehicles...
Great designs and everything, but am I the only one bored of seeing WW2 stuff now? See, if people were choosing new designs each time it'd be cool, but when it's just frickin' Shermans, just friggin' forest ambush scenes and just frackin' 'dueces' it gets seriously tedious and undeniably unimaginative.
Re: Even More WWII Vehicles...
Meh, like Garet6 I'm bored of all these WWII creations. The Main thing about LEGO is expressing yourself, not copying other people and random pictures.
They're still good, but I prefer unique things like your new tank.

Re: Even More WWII Vehicles...
There are quite a lot of WWII builders on this site, and we're not complaining about your MOCs. So why do on ours? (Tac - Dark Bluish Grey only for example)

Yes, but they are different. My AT-AW is unique, no other walker looks like it.
This looks alot like the one Phima posted in his WIP topic.
EDIT: As far as I can see this is the same except for the winch area.
Re: Even More WWII Vehicles...
We recreate history, you can't change that. Because going back into history and saying "Hey Roosevelt, some Lego builders complain to Lego WWII builders about the shape of your Shermans, so get a new tank, ok?" Isn't possible nor practical.

I'm just saying that this is basically Milan Cmidge's model with a slight change to the front. If Phima can honestly say he built this on his own design and it's just a strange coincedence that it looks like Milan Cmidge's then I take everything back.
Re: Even More WWII Vehicles...
Bizzle: Thanks! But I'm not heightening the Sherman cause when I add another layer of treads, it'll be higher already.
DP: Thanks!
Garet: I see what you mean, but I don't really have much choice. And right now I'm basically building the basics to have a small 'collection' to start off with.
Tac: Again, I'll slightly agree, and I made this deuce, cause well, it was to pwnin' to pass and I didn't like my own
But thanks for the comments. And I'll probably post my 'unique' tank later as Tac said, but I feel like it's still missing something right now.

Re: Even More WWII Vehicles...
The new Deuce is amazing. Very well done with that! The Sherman is a big improvement, but it's still has too much of that sort of the triangular shape.
Re: Even More WWII Vehicles...
PhiMa- I didn't mean heighten it, I meant make it wide. It seems too narrow. And your welcome.

History doesn't simply consist of Shermans and trucks. Try something different like aircraft or mini-scale battleships.
