13th Assault Corps

One of the more mobile GAR corps, the 13th Assault Corps was a rapid response unit that was prepared for expeditionary missions or as a retaliation force against Separatist attacks. They mainly served to spearhead assaults into CIS territories, but would often set out to reclaim Republic planets that had been captured by the Separatists. The Corps, like its legions, had no permanent Jedi leaders, but often Jedi Generals and Commanders sent by the Council would assist in the 13th's operations.

As like all Corps, the 13th was the parent of four legions, each assigned a general directive for military operations:

A frontline unit that would spearhead attacks, often as the first wave and will work alongside the 131st Legion. The legion is unique in that all of its members have some form of deficiency; commanded by Commander DC-5077 Zulu:

A second frontline unit that would assist the 762nd Legion, but also fulfilled defensive roles in support of the 56th Legion; commanded by Commander CC-7666 Sixer:

No, this isn't a Guild Corps (although that would be cool... ), and no, I haven't reserved these legion numbers, so anyone who wants to use these numbers (apart from 762) is free to. And no, I don't care if these numbers have been taken already - they aren't Guild legions.

Oh... And no, I'm not going to expand the other legions in great detail. I will, at most, make one or two standard troopers for each and leave it at that.

While their all astounding - the amount of time put into them must be simply massive - I have to go with Sixer. I have never, ever, seen a paint-job like that on a Clone, and it is because of that novelty I cast my vote for him . A full helmet colorization. Very nifty!

I've never really commented much before, simply because Sial always beats me to it and says what needs to be said.

However, I went for Mez. The colours are so rich and deep, and though each individual figure is a combination of artwork and imagination, I think I just love purple, and that's it.

I chose Zulu because of the simplicity, but the big gun might have some influence with my vote.

I chose zulu because of the choice of colours and design which I think is original to you.

A tough decision to be sure, they are such work that is second to no one I've seen. A true work of art.

Now onto my vote. Zulu swayed my vote a little because he was the only one with a big, unigue, gun. Nyno, which I'm surprised it only got one vote, had a cool pattern on his chest, which I thought looked cool. But I voted for Sixer, in the same fashion of what Sial has stated, and the fact he's green.

In short: Epic Win.

Nice customs and this will be a good start to legion I think.

I chose Mez, because I really like all those lines on his legs and torso. I also liked how you added lines on just one side of the helmet. Very creative on all of them!

Mez definitely goes with me. The color and the precision is just amazing. Excellent work!

Wow MikeZulu, you have once again did an astounding paint job and created amazing looking clones, can't wait to see more of your figs. All of them look awesome but I chose Sixer because I like that design on him and I like how he's green.

They all are amazing but my favorite would have to be Ceres.Its an epic win cause they are all brilliant.

Those are decals. The helmets are painted, but apart from that...

Good to see Zulu is loved the most: Interesting that Mez was well liked, since he's hot pink and looks like he's wearing pyjamas...

Anyways, small update - I've given each legion an emblem. (Including a new 762nd emblem)

Mez looks more like light purple in the pic.

But now that you mention that he looks like he's wearing pajamas, I'm not liking him as much as before.

Very well done Mike. I couldn't decide which was the best.

I was stuck between Zulu and Mez. I ended up choosing Zulu obviously because he's more awesome. I liked his visor and the design across his helmet and feet. Plus that giant arse gun totally worked out. Great custom clones all-round Mike!

I went with Zulu, as the rest are a bit technicolour for my liking. Still, good decals and excellent painting as usual.

I have to go with Zulu but could you give him a better name?
