Commanders of the 42nd Advance Corps
Jedi General Jay Nix:
'We are a Shining Light in this Darkness of War.'
Jay Nix was a famed Jedi General during the Clone Wars, who believes that morale is the key to winning a battle, and tries to promote the same belief into each of his 4 Legions, but he wasn't always like this. Ten years ago, when he was in his 30s, he was a smuggler. Using his ship, he would take goods into planets when the Republic wouldn't allow it. He didn't care who got hurt, what the parcel was, or anything like that, so long as he got a few credits. One day, he was being payed 50,000 credits for a single, massive package. Because of his large pay, he decided to do with haste. He took it to the planet of Yanux; a warzone. It was very poor, and had very little political status in the galaxy, but underneath it's crime filled, scummy exterior, there was mile-thick layer of mixed minerals, from Durasteel to Crotosis. The senate, however, refused to put Republic troops on the surface to protect it, because they had the Battle of Naboo to deal with. When he landed there, he found that the Technological Planetary Alliance, a large company that supported the trade Federation, had invaded, and had started a massive mining operation, brutally recruiting the population to mine the minerals, or try their there chances against a firing squad. Evading a blockade very narrowly, he found the house who needed the parcel and went in. The sight changed his view on the galaxy forever; Twenty innocents crammed into a single room, all as thin as paper, some dead on the floor, some looking at him, their eyes full of desperation. He then found out that he was in the HQ of the Yanux Liberation Front, a small group of ragtag rebels that were trying (And failing) to drive away the TPA. An old man then walked in the room, the leader of the YLF, Alex Jak. He said that these were the friends of the group's few members, and that he was a retired Jedi. He took the parcel, and invited him into the briefing room. Inside the package were some old Stark Hyperspace weapons. Jay argued that they couldn't even try to liberate the planet, due to overwhelming odds, but Alex explained that as long as the fire of freedom was burning inside them, they stood a chance. He then tested Jay, and it was revealed he had potential to be a Jedi. He then told Jay that he fought in the Stark Hyperspace War alongside his father, Luke Nix, but had to keep his existence a secret. Jay was now disgusted with what he had chosen for his career, and, armed with Alex's old lightsaber, led a charge to destroy the TPA's main HQ on the planet, with people joining the charge from every house. Jay now understood what Luke had meant, and somehow destroyed the HQ, forcing the TPA to retreat. A week later, Republic troopers landed. When they saw Jay with a lightsaber, they suggested that he try and become a Jedi. After a long debate, he agreed, and flew to Coruscant. The council were going to refuse him, but Mace Windu said that he could sense a will inside Jay to help others, and was therefore accepted. Instead of going through training, he was forced straight into the action as a knight and was told to learn as he went along. This meant that he had a aggressive, unorthodox lightsaber style. Five years later, he became a master. He participated in Geonosis, and made it out without a scratch. He was then put in charge of the 42nd Advance corps, made up of legions that share his passion to serve the Republic.
Clone Marshal Commander ???:
Ever since his "Birth", ??? has been unusually aggressive, even for a clone. At the age of five (Ten by a clones standards) he got into a fight, which resulted in his foe nearly being strangled to death and over 120,000 credits worth of collateral damage. Nobody has crossed paths with him since, except for his one friend, Rip. Instead of him being killed, as it was widely thought, he was selected to be a Combat Engineer, where aggressiveness can be a key. When he wasn't learning about how to fix and destroy things, he was working out, until he reached a height of 5 feet, with a weight of 50 pounds at the age of twelve. Then came the inevitable battle of geonosis. He was selected as a corporal, with Rip as sergeant. He and his men did standard jobs at first alongside their brothers, until an AT-TE stepped on a directional mine, blowing the leg off. His squad was assigned to fix it, when they were ambushed by a Corporate Alliance droid. It killed all of his men, including the AT-TE's crew, except for Rip, who destroyed it with a disposable rocket tube. However, a peice of razor-sharp debris struck his friend in the stomach, wounding him, then an entire platoon of droids appeared. ??? fought, while dragging his friend to safety the entire time. When his rifle ran out, he hid Rip behind the AT-TE, grabbed his Saw, and dived into the platoon. Somehow, he destroyed all of them. Half an our later, a squad, including a medic, arrived after Rip set off his distress beacon. They were too late. His friend was dead. The grieving over his friend made him even more aggressive. There was even a rumour spreading that he was one step away from being declared insane. There was nothing more he wanted to do than to tear the wiring out of a droid. Despite this, he still followed orders, and got the job done. He was promoted to captain, but then was pretty much forgotten. That was until he was approached by the Jedi of of the recently established 42nd Corps. He was made the commander. Many doubted his ability to lead a squad, let alone a corps. They were proved wrong, after the 42nd led many seemingly suicidal assaults on separatist-occupied planets, and came out alive. He made many changes to his armour, including the addition of a custom made peice of durasteel plating body armour, but to this very day, he still keeps his saw, as a reminder of his lost friend.
251st Legion [PhiMa] | Led by Jedi General Camu Lorix & Senior Clone Commander Hyperion(CC-3242) | Pure breed, simple Clones. No elites, no specialities. But still known to fight till the death. The 251st have taken part in countless battles with other legions of the 42nd Corps, ranging anywhere from Geonosis to the battle of Christophsis. Specialized in ground assault due to heavy walker regiments.
101st Legion [-Aki-] | Led by General Alec & Senior Clone Commander Shepard (CC-223) | An entirely defective legion, all the clones have indivilual personalites, and are totally independant. They have been on many campaings, which have been succeses thanks to their tactical supremecy, thanks to their NCO, Alec. Known by many as "The Black Knights", you can rely on them in any situation. This made them perfect for the 42nd Advance Corps.
99th Advance Legion [(Insert Name Here)] | Led by Jedi General Kale Solbane & Senior Clone Commander Bronze (CC-0594) | The 99th units are very down to earth, by the book sort of clones. Though many of them were independent, they never delayed when it came to orders. Most are very respectful to their brothers, inside or outside their Legion. However, that changed rather quickly when their Jedi General, Kale Solbane, started recruiting non-clone military volunteers.
212th Legion [Tac] | Led by Jedi General Jek & Senior Clone Commander Rusty (CC-3012) | The 212th is a mechanical legion filled with walkers, STAT's and other vehicles. They have been to many planets, crushing droids under their stampedes and laser fire. The 212th tend to split up into smaller groups, sneaking up on the enemy before coming back together, charging at them yelling battle cries at the droid menace. Some memorable campaigns were Kyere and Farus, both were huge successes. |

Re: 42nd Advance Corps
If worse comes to worse I can just change around the usergroup whenver you need it! I'll add INH and kick Jens, and it won't be a big deal since i could see the Corps section anyways.
You also might want to clean up your code a little.

Alright, thanks. Sooner or Later I'd still like command though.
And thanks again, I hadn't noticed that.

Alright, epic new Emblem thanks to INH! If one of you admins could replace it under our names, we'd be grateful.
Right now I'm only missing some information on Tac's legion, and the backstories. Corps Commanders are in the works.
C&C welcome.

Actually, from a visual standpoint, PNGs preserve more quality.

Nice updated logo. Includes the ideas from the original Corps Logo and brings the new and fresh elements as well. Nicely done.

Re: 42nd Advance Corps
Thank you for being able not to be a jackass and helping at the same time.
Thanks though. Now I just have to get one done and see how Tac's doing...

I like him, but his smirk is too big to me.
Re: 42nd Advance Corps
@Jens: Yeah, but you should've seen the other entries . Plus, I think his smirk gives him a bit of a look...like he knows what he's doing. And yeah, we're still working on bio's and names, and emblems for legions.
Also, if we want to use this in Flesh, I'd say we'd have to take this one.
I'd like to thank all my Corps members for the support they've given me so far. Thanks guys!

Re: 42nd Advance Corps
Nope, both work. It's just if I want to use it in a comic or something, I'll use that face.

I'm gonna mix yellow w/ fleshies in my series. (Sue me)
But yeah, that's gotta be the closest face your gonna get. IMO I hate that particular face. Looks like an older version of my father.
Re: 42nd Advance Corps
Updated with Tac's Commander.
Courtesy of the Name goes to Zepher, Backstory to Aki, and Figure goes to Tac.

That one doesn't fit to our new Jedi.
You can write a new one if you wish.
