Dreadnought-Class Stardestroyer 'Eye of the Storm'
One of the largest battleships in the history of the Republic. Only one was ever made, know as the ‘eye of the storm’. It was never reproduced due to the sheer cost (ranging at around 300 million republic credits) and the fact that the dreadnought had to be built in space, because if it were to land on a planet it would cause an earthquake of massive scale, thanks to its size & weight. It was given to the 251st, for the dreadnought was built for transport, and the 251st had walkers, plenty of those for the fact. It has a crew of about 9500 people, but has transport capacities for another 20000 men. It’s cargo bay has enough for about 140 walkers, 150 LAAT/I gunships and a fighter squadron of about 30 ARC-170s. But, this sheer side also made the Dreadnought slower than other ships but still had an amazingly fast Hyperdrive, class 0.8 to be exact. It is known to be a predecessor to the Imperial Star Destroyer.

Re: Dreadnought-Class Stardestroyer 'Eye of the Storm'
Wasn't the Dreadnought Destroyer J4ke's ship??
Re: Dreadnought-Class Stardestroyer 'Eye of the Storm'
That would've been an awesome ship for our Corps.
Well done.
Well done.
Re: Dreadnought-Class Stardestroyer 'Eye of the Storm'
Pretty good, except I don't like the fact that it has so many studs. Some more SNOT would be better.

Dreadnaught-class cruiser, and now a Dreadnaught-class Star Destroyer? Meh. I was hoping for an actual Dreadnaught cruiser... I guess it's OK as a Star Destroyer. There isn't all that much aside from the sloping bridge area and the more rotund feel to it.

It is a great ship but the engines need to be lower.

I'm starting to really dig these mini capitol ships. I really like the guns and the bridge on this one, plus the engines. Good work!

Nice mini capitol ship. I think it is to much like an ISD, but thats what you were going for so good job. The engines are nice to.

There are a million ships in Star Wars named Dreadnaught, so I don't think J4ke owns the right to that name either...
But anyway, I like it, it bears a resemblance to the Venator.

Re: Dreadnought-Class Stardestroyer 'Eye of the Storm'
I love all the angles and the bridge, but the tan looks a bit out of place.
Re: Dreadnought-Class Stardestroyer 'Eye of the Storm'
Jake's ship is the Disgorger-class. If all goes well, expect that to be cropping up in a few places other than S42VI.Jedi Joe wrote:There are a million ships in Star Wars named Dreadnaught, so I don't think J4ke owns the right to that name either...Thunder-blade wrote:Wasn't the Dreadnought Destroyer J4ke's ship??
Anyway, the MOC looks too much like the official ISD and the bridge/sensor area is a bit wider than it should be.

Thanks for all the comments!
@DY: Those two tan 1x1 studs are supposed to be those symbols on the cruisers...never know what they're called...
@Jinja: Weird, but I only used pieces of the official set...and it doesn't look THAT much like it...plus the bridge was designed to be bigger.

I actually really like this, seen many of these with the same shape, but it's pretty well done.
