CIS Battle Pack (Corps Challenge)
Fallen Jedi Lissarkh leads a deadly new CIS tank droid into battle - with her formidable Cobalt Guard B2 droid providing support, they are nigh unstoppable! Pit them against the 257th's mercenary force, or join forces with Equinox to turn the tide of the war.
(Includes Lissarkh, OOM B1 battle droid, Cobalt Guard B2 battle droid and B1 battle droid.)
So yeah, my entry for the Compulsory Corps Challenge. Thought I'd show off my eraser'd Trandoshan, MMCB tunic, battle droid commander and blue super.

Nice, I love how the tank bears so much similarity to the original droid BP.

Well, it has a big wedge plate on either side, but that's about it.

Fail.
Anyway, I like the similarities to the old droid BP, but the custom weaps look a bit tacky.

No. If it was a Mando-turned Jedi, it would fail. If it was an uber-powerful Sith with lightning shooting out its arse, it would fail. If it was a fallen Jedi working as a merc/still fighting for the Republic/killing everyone indiscriminately, it would fail. The concept of a fallen Jedi in itself is not automatically 'fail'. I'm afraid you'll have to be a little more loquacious if you wish to save your point.Jedi Joe wrote:Fail. The Jinja Ninja wrote:Fallen Jedi...
Weapons are TLAS and BA, which everybody around here seems to wank over constantly. Admittedly though, they were just what I had lying around, and yeah, the silenced pistol looks silly in the middle of a battle.Jedi Joe wrote:Anyway, I like the similarities to the old droid BP, but the custom weaps look a bit tacky.

It's actually pretty funny how you dog other people for using Rogue Jedi but you seem to think that yours is different. It's a highly overused idea and fails hard.

Of the ones I take the piss out of, half are 'rouge Jedi' and half are blatant Mary Sue-isms. Feel free to elaborate on why the concept is so "fail" any time you like.

Re: CIS Battle Pack (Corps Challenge)
The vehicle looks sort of like the original droid battle pack. How you included the jedi is cool, but I see no difference between the OOM B1 Battle Droid and the B1 Battle Droid.
Re: CIS Battle Pack (Corps Challenge)
Design is pretty neat, nothing special but I like the concept of this.

OOM has a yellow circle on it's head.
I like it Jinja, but I think it could use some DK blue.
Re: CIS Battle Pack (Corps Challenge)
Check the official Corporate Alliance Tank Droid and Homing Spider Droid sets. See any dark blue? I did have some in there originally, but due to the fact that some parts (grill bricks, 1x3 curved slopes, the big wedges) just plain ain't in dark blue, the parts I did have looked tacked on. The grey flows a bit better, IMO.Jens wrote:I like it Jinja, but I think it could use some DK blue.

Oh. I didn't see the yellow circle in the pic.
