Post Apoc Snow Outpost
In 2050, scientists began dabbling in genetics, and unknowingly unleashed a virus that transformed susceptible humans into ragin alien-like creatures. 95% of the world's population was infected. The other 5% were only spared because they were in remote locations or away from large amounts of people. Months later, what remained of the world's government banded together in what was known as the IDA (International Defence Association) to counter the mutant threat. However, they were short of survivors, so they enlisted a man called Axel to help find the survivors and help their plight.
Here, Axel has found a small outpost in Antarctica, and meets Corporal Johnson, Lieutenant Brian and Private Stan.
Portable Computer? The orange gadget is a heater unit.
Axel's view
Johnson's view
No figs
Figs: Axel, Stan, Johnson, Brian
Thanks!

Re: Post Apoc Snow Outpost
When you mess with genetics, you're asking for trouble.
Anyways, it's a nice little vig. Well done.

The 'figs are great. I love the whole thing overall, and the computer seems nifty. Nice work.

Re: Post Apoc Snow Outpost
A nice, small project. I don't like how the scientists (or soldiers) have clone armor though.
By the way, what is a SNOT?

Re: Post Apoc Snow Outpost
Studs Not On Top. Like having things that normally stand straight go sideways or upside down.
Re: Post Apoc Snow Outpost
Ahhhh....... Thanks for telling me, CommanderKill.

Re: Post Apoc Snow Outpost
It's CommanderKill. There's no space, so get it right.
Just messing with you.
All in all, this is a real nice MOC.

All right, I edited it, CommanderKill.
And I was thinking if I should put a space or not as your username doesn't, but I decided to because if I didn't it would be a grammatical error.

Loving the SNOT. Not so much the heater though, I feel you could've done more with it. For example, in my Post-Apoc snow dio, I put TNO cones inside Chucktainers.

I was actually going to go with Rebel torsoes, but the figs would've been pretty much stock minifigs, only with swapped heads, so I opted for a different approach.

Definitely agree with you about the heating unit. The whole vig was pretty much built while watching TV, so I didn't really give it alot of thought when building. Besides, the unit was heavily influenced by outdoor lamp designs...
Thanks for the comments!
