The Pelican!
An overview
In Action! (Sorta)
The Troop (In the behind or Trunk of the Bird Mobile(That's it's nickname I gave it while in the building process)
Yes the Beck does open (But side-ways) WAIT A MINUTE! WHO IS THAT! HE WASN'T THE PILOT LAST TIME i CHECKED! HE'S NOT EVEN IN UNIFORM! I don't think he even works for us... Wonder how he got there...
The bird lays her young (Thier getting out for a team picture before battle)
The Crew and their "Mother Goose"
Soldier 1: Hey, Frank, you remember that guy?
Soldier 2: I don't think I've ever seen him before...
My god it's taller then I remember!
Soldier 1: Oh great... Frank, meet me it the back...
Soldier 2: Yeah, I don't think I know him either.
Soldier 1: Do... do you hear music?
Soldier 1: Back away slowly Frank

Re: The Pelican!
Haha this is very creative. I like the colors and all the angles of the wings, feathers, etc. For some reason when I see it I want to call it a chicken though
Re: The Pelican!
Good construct! Very much like a bird or pelican, although it seems a bit too many colors.

Wow, this looks great! But it could use a bit more work under at the belly.

Re: The Pelican!
Rook's right! It is like a baby pelican!
Although, IMHO, there is far too much yellow and not enough white. Pelicans were almost entirely white but for their large beaks.

Nice idea
When I first saw it on the thread I thought "What the? What is a pelican doing in the CABG?" Heh .
I like the opening head, and the troop bay!

Re: The Pelican!
I ran out of yellow piece, and the model that I was working from infact ONLY had a white neck,... the body was brown, and the head was yellow. I personally meant for it to be more of a any bird, rather then just a Pelican...

Ahh, now I see it. An artistic touch, no doubt...

Ahh, an intrinsic technique... Nice!

Re: The Pelican!
Every time I entered anything here I didn't get any votes, doesn't feel very good does it, not that I was trying to be a jerk on purpose and not vote for you though.

Same here.. on FBTB I was always pissed off when the master builders with even more skills than Rook always win, always. I only won 3 knights in a giveaway there. So when I joined here I wasn't really thinking of winning but just for fun, but now I have a big change of getting second, I want to go for it.

That's how I started about 2 years ago and now I've won 3 prizes. Two 2nd place and one 1st place. It takes time. And clearly the more you build and the more contests you enter the better your chances are. I enter almost every contest that I find.

Re: The Pelican!
If my scorpion was ready, even Rook would have to watch out, It's pretty cool, giant claws and everything...
