Arc Heavy Gunner
Alright... It's 3 in the morning. I've just finished casting/customizing/putting decals on helmets/pouring new molds... basically working. I'm creating the ARC Heavy Gunner helmet
Now has anybody made this gun?
and if not can anybody try and post results here. I'll probably have the minifig done by next weekend.

Re: Arc Heavy Gunner
Oh,thats easy.Just get 4 grey cannon bricks(the ones that Lego used for the STATs),and then put some binoculars on the ends, and then pick out some bricks for the body of the gun.You could also use grey battle droid arms to connect the gun to his backback.

I made a similar weapon, but it's not the same.

Making the support arms would be tough.

Legorev has...
Oh, legorev has got one, check out his "what my order 66 entry should have looked like", and one clone has. That is easy to make, so send him a PM .

Re: Arc Heavy Gunner
Yep, one of my order 66 figs had a gun similar to this. I'll host a pic I suppose since I'm too lazy to go find the exact thread.
Not exactly the same, but I think it looks good

Re: Arc Heavy Gunner
It does look AWESOME! But I think an actual copy of that gun would be cool.

Re: Arc Heavy Gunner
I was just experimenting the other day, battle droid arms DO NOT work, at least they don't work with one of arealight's AT-RT helmets that is.

Exo-Force arms are probably too thick, the circle wrenches would work, IF you could connect them together somehow.

You attach the arm to the wrench.

Re: Arc Heavy Gunner
(I know there's probably a thread somewhere that answers this but...) Question: How do you create your casts Wuzzu? What kind of plastic do you melt down or use?

There is a thread about this, but not here, it's on Fineclonier, anyway I'd like to know Wuzzupbob's specific techniques as well.

Unfortunately I do not give away my secrets of casting... but I will say that I use Alumilite products and I've yet to purchase the vacuum seal... MOST of my casts turn out... I guess I'm just waiting for the excuse to blow $200

Well I spent 4 hours making this helmet then casted the mold and created the first casting within 24 hrs. when it normally takes 2 or 3 days vs arealight who takes around a week or 2 to perfect his custom before casting it. I'm not bashing arealight, because I think he's amazing (having purchase some of his items myself ) I'm just stating why mine are not absolutely perfect. With decals and clear coat mine do look great though. PLUS arealight and I do not have any one of the same custom
Re: Arc Heavy Gunner
Well, you and arealight both have eps.3 trooper helms, and is his stuff is like the same price too, I would make REALLY good products in a longer period of time, than mediocre stuff in a short period of time.

Your not looking at the producers point of view. Less time to produce= MOOHLA!

On the contrary... He has created his own custom ep 3 trooper where as I only sell the black or silver version of the lego version. TECHNICALLY not the same
thanks astoriabluelegos
