Worm attack redone
Ok so I redid the whole thing, and I thinks it came out a lot better. I got rid of the spys and the location. In a republic base a small space worm escaped and was last seen in a old city. Now it is up to the 80th legion to find it. I hope you all like it.
An overveiw.
The worms head.
A clone holding on for his life, and commander shade comming to the rescue.
A clone behind cover with a motor.
A crashed hover bike.
Two veiws of the worm and the broken road.
C@C are welcome.

I don't really see the MOC in it....It looks like what you take pictures on with a little lime here and there.

The worm, and the turret are both mocs. The are also layered plates to look like rocks on each end as well

Re: Worm attack redone
Yea well to me, it's just some plates, it would have looked better if you took those 2 big ones in the back away and then worked on the ground, because right now I think you should have just posted some good pictures of the worm and turret as a tablescrap instead of a whole topic for them.

You're right I should have done that, anyways I will work on this.

Re: Worm attack redone
I'm sorry, but this doesn't really look like anything to me. It looks like you just took a few pieces and put them randomly on a baseplate.

Update redid the whole thing. This took about two hours this time. C@C are welcome.

Get a better backdrop.
Until then, I refuse to comment.

Get some paper....or a towel, something else than your floor.
And learn to hold the camera still.

Agree with getting a better backdrop, but the camera work isn't that bad. When I started MOCing, most of my shots were semi-blurry as well.

Well when you started was a while ago, 501st has so many great guides on the 'net and some very skilled photographers here.
Re: Worm attack redone
@ Jens' latest post: And obviously he hasn't thought to look up any of them yet, or his photos wouldn't be blurry. Hmm?
@ 501st: Very cool work! Can you PM me the first edition? I just want to see what everyone was fussing about...

Re: Worm attack redone
Well then I'll give him a little one now;
1. If you have a tripod, use it
2. Flash is not to be used, unless you aim it at a lamp or a reflector
3. Backdrops, use them, if you don't have enough for a big item, start small and learn the camera
That is all you really need to know right now.

This is totally awesome. The elevated road is great, and the worm construction is also superior!!

Ooo. Pretty green. Photoshop out the background and you've got something nice there.
