NYPD - Picking Up The Pieces - Survivors
The purpose of the NYPD: Picking Up The Pieces Project is to document what happened in New York City after the bombing. It is meant to both document the bravery of the men of the NYPD and tell how the most successful city survived, even though it was hit the hardest. We hope if the situation ever shows itself again, we can all learn by this example.
72 Days After Infection -
70 days had passed since the first USA infection when the order came. Zombies ran wild on the streets of New York City. It was too much for anyone to handle. The government made a snap decision and bombed New York City. It came without warning. Numbers now suggest that the bombing killed 74% of surviving humans, and 23% of the Zombies. The humans had already been out numbered.
2 days after the bombing, the NYPD chief, Granger, decided to pull together the pieces. His first order of business was look for survivors.
Second in Command - Major Dent - Stayed behind while rest of military pulled out.
First in Command - Chief Granger
I plan to do quite a few more of these, if they're enough interest. Inspiration came from World War Z (fantastic book), though the story will not follow that story. Hope you enjoyed!

The yellow and white tiling are out of place, the ground is too blocky, and the fire seems a bit randomly placed.
I like the road though, and the figs.

What Joe said, there are too many exposed studs/2x4 bricks, but everything else is great.

How else would you build a destoryed area? Shouldn't it be all roughed up and bumpy? If a bomb hit, would it be smooth?
Not trying to sound defensive, I'm actually looking for advice, since I do plan on making more of these.

Well, yes, but you don't do it by just using bricks and plates. Add some greebles, make it look like there was a pipe underneath, I don't know, but use Revo's Mygeeto for inspiration.

Thaanks. I did try to add a small pipe, but I guess it wasn't big enough. i see the space that I could have used, and of course you're right. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, the main thing is detail, just imagine what it would look like if someone tore the Brooklyn Bridge in half... well, maybe not that extreme, but that's not my point.
