WWII-Era Figures
I've posted most of these on Flickr, but not here yet. They've greatly improved from my last bunch.
The Allies:
WWII-era US-American Allied Infantry:
The Creme de la Creme.
ANZAC (Australian/New Zealand Army Corps) Infantry:
Part of the British Commonwealth.
USMC Marines:
Americans in the pacific theatre, standing infront of the M4A3E8 Sherman w/ Dozer blade.
Others (From left to right: 2 tank crew members, US Colonel, US Paratrooper):
Made for a Contest.
The Axis:
German Wehrmacht:
Only half of them, missing weapons for the rest.
Fallschirmjäger:
Credit for the Design to Bantha.
SS Major and SS Elite:
Ugh. Blurry Picture.
Enjoy!
All weapons made by Brickarms. Dk. Bley helmets & Gasmask/Headlamp by brickforge. Olive Helmets by Sluban.

Re: WWII-Era Figures
These all look pretty good, although I'm not sure who would go to war without a shirt.

I like the gas mask on the SS Elite. I like the Marines too (The one with no shirt reminds me of the soldier in Iraq without any pants ). Could you by any chance make a flamethrower figure?

Re: WWII-Era Figures
Thanks guys.
@80-0: Yeah, I found it in the Race for the Golden Treasure set. Turns out the ones later released included those. (also, with a little luck, the Rebel Hoth BP will include it )
@Alome: I could try...but it's hard to make a purist version...plus those were mainly used in the pacific theatre, I prefer european warfare.

Re: WWII-Era Figures
Oh just a question: Why do some guys have the crappy old guns and some have the machine gun-ish ones (basically why do some guys have better weapons when their all the same type of soldier)?
Re: WWII-Era Figures
I have a a question, and a few comments. Where did you get that SS Elite? I don't think there was eversuch a thing. Secondly the US Marines need some improving. Also to answer everyone's question of the guy without the shirt, they took off their shirts sometimes like on Okinawa because it soo hot and humid there! What would rather die of? Heat exhustion or being shot by a bullet (a bullet you can recover sometimes though).

Training or rank if you are refering to the Americans with the Thompsons.

Re: WWII-Era Figures
Well that's because not all soldiers were assigned the same postion. Even though they are dressed the same they would have postions like Rifleman and submachine-gunner. But ranks don't matter ex Corporal, Sergant, Staff Sergant.Troopa Daisy wrote:Oh just a question: Why do some guys have the crappy old guns and some have the machine gun-ish ones (basically why do some guys have better weapons when their all the same type of soldier)?

What in the world makes you think that some are better than others? They all have their flaws. just because a certain gun has a higher firing rate doesn't mean it's better.
Oh, and Phima...
I'm gunna have more american privates then you!

Thanks guys.
@TD: You probably mean the guns the americans are holding, right? They're both from the same time era, one's a rifle (M1 Garand) and one is a sub-machine gun (Better known as a Thompson)
@Commander Four: There were SS Elite. Might have been known as SS Sturm elite or something.

Re: WWII-Era Figures
Why do the German Wehrmachts have flashlights strapped to their chests?
Other than that, they're pretty awesome.
