Arc 170 miniscale this time

The obligatory angle showing that the S-foils do indeed open and close. I am also quite happy with the way the wings "sag".

I had the general wing design when I finished my minifig scale Arc-170, but I could never get anywhere on the engines, body, or even how to attach the S-foils. Over the weeks things gradually fell into place, and overall I'm happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately I think it might be too small to merit a nose art sticker.

Nose art would be cool, but you're right unfortunately. Anyways, good job with this, I just don't like the black stud at the end of the engines,
change them into'in flight colors'.

This is the best miniscale ARC-170 I've ever seen. But I think those engines do need stickers.

Ok I will see what I can do about some stickers on the engines. While I'm at it I'll do the stripe down the front, and maybe some other details.

This looks like the mini set TLC made.

I'm not sure if that's a compliment or insult, but it looks really different from TLC's.

Just wondering, will we see these in some of your future mocs?

Imagine a 96 x 96 featuring a miniscale space battle with a squadron of these 170s flying 'round. That would be really awesome (to me at least)...
