What Should I Do?
WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
I wanted to build a medium sized mecha and I wanted to take something to STEAM with me. This is pretty much an experiment with: Connections, Studs and stickers. I think it's coming along quite well IMO.
6th of June:
Finished the head, now all I need to do is the body, hopefully a fig' will fit inside it...
3rd of June:
I added some new feet (Still hate them, I think I'll add some better ones at the end), bulked up the thighs and built some arms.
The head's a tablescrap I made over a month ago, but it turned out way too small.
3rd of May:
Made the legs slimmer, they're now a cross between V1 and V2.
3rd of May:
Bulked up the knees and hip joints, now I need to make some bigger feet.
More pictures in the set (Link below).
3rd of May:
Oh, BTW, the black antenna isn't needed, It's just there in case it starts to fall over.
Here's the set if you want to see more views/bigger photos.

Yes, the others were too big, this one's much smaller.
EDIT: Updated with bulkier knees and hip joints. I had originally planned something like this with the dishes, but couldn't find a way to do it, now I have. In other words it was supposed to be chunky/bulky.
Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
The 5th month is May. That is all.
Lol, I like the bulk on the legs. Will this be a humanoid type mech?

I'm the only one who voted... It looks good so far Tac, but it needs some "big frakkin' guns."

Give it arms. Make it like an overgrown IRobot.

Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
Keep it in a lightweight setup. Put arms on it. If you wanted big guns you would need bigger legs, making it sort of like a juggernaut. I think the ways the legs look it would be one of those swift moving recon mecha.
Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
If your going for a American look by all means keep it bulked up but if you want it to actually look good, well keep it light weight.

Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
Those legs are looking great! But I don't really like that posture. You should have it leaning forward more, I understand though if you can't because of the whole joint thing.

Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
I'll post some pictures of the gun tonight, it has no handle yet, I'll add it when I make the hand.
Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
Look's great so far Tac you really are a MOC expert! (Wish I could build like that!)
I think it need's some ''Frakkin guns'' and bigger feet.
Anyway I can't wait to see the update!
Keep up the great work!

Nice job on the gun, I really like it! Is the minifig torso just there for proportion comparison?
Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
Give it a bigger gun, like a chain-gun!

It is coming along nice. The gun is okay. It looks like a giant ak-74u. Fitting the minifig torso into the mecha torso would look cool, I think Phima suggested that on flickr.

Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
The head does look alot better. It also looks like you are in the final stretch. You may actually complete this WIP.
I am excited to see what you do for the torso.

Re: WIP Mecha Updated June 6th
May I suggest a teal or blue photosensor on the head and gun? IMO it would fit better than the dark red.

Thank you for making the gun bigger, that's all I really was upset about, the rest is great.

Anyone remember this? I finally got a chance to work on the body and and it's coming along well. Hopefully it'll be done by next weekend.
