Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
Yeah like I've said before. You buying a piece of art. You're basically paying for the persons time not the cost of materials.

And this is where I stand on the price points or else it doesn't benefit the creator to make anything for sale. My hilts don't cover my regular hourly cost:P but I like doing them anyway and eventually I can caste them in abs and reduce the prices...
But back on topic... wuzzie you seem to take criticism well... I thought an arguement would have broken out by now. I am not an owner of your figs and probably won't be either but I agree with each his own. I love details on my minifigs but I also like minifig makers as well...
You are making decent money so you don't need to worry about the nay sayers... your bank account is all the review you need.
Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
This is amazing. Commander Jet, a geonosian trooper, A genosian ARF trooper, and Waxer and Boil in ARF trooper uniform.

Yeah no need to argue. They due cost a lot. Some people can afford them. Some people don't like them. Some people can't afford them. Some people love them.
I love them. I have 9 and 6 more on the way.
Here's 4:

Awesome, definetly some of your best work Wuzzie. They are amazing, and make me want to but at least one.

When I have a spare 50 bucks, I'll be sure to consider buying one.
Those are definitely some sweet helmets, they just happen to be some of the few that I can't make myself.

Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
Wait I can't tell, do the sides of the legs have camo patterns on the ARF troopers as well?
Anyways, what I like about Minifigmaker is that he/she has simple designs that are affordable. An army can be built off them very easily. There are also some stuff there that isn't on your site Wuzzupbob.
But your figs are just plain awesome! All the options on your figure, the details of the decals, and the variety is just stupendous.

Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
Now I agree with you they are cheaper and have a little more variety then CAC, but they didn't have as good quality as CAC.bl*c wrote:Wait I can't tell, do the sides of the legs have camo patterns on the ARF troopers as well?

Yes they do have camo on the sides. And I realize that the price limits army building which is why hopefully starting early next year my figures will be plastic injection and screen printed vs resin casted and waterslide decaled making my figures cheaper and more plentiful. That's the aim at least. ^_^
Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
For the helmets decals you need a different printer rather then a screen printer.

Just wondering, what type of weapons are they going to have?
And, are you going to make the flame troopers?
And, are you going to make the flame troopers?

Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
Yes, I did make the flamethrower trooper, I just don't know what to do about the flamethrower since the one they use is simply a DC-15a rifle but round at the end instead of hexagon.
Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
Good job, Wuzzie! May I suggest rounding off the barrel of the DC-15 Rifle? That might work.
Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
I like the figures they are nice. I like the commander jet figure and his troopers.

Yeah, you are right!
@Wuzzupbob: Those guys look insane! When are you putting them on your website for sale?
I really like all the detail you used on the ARF's and the Flamtrooper, they look really good.

Re: Prepare for the second battle of Geonosis
For a rounded DC-15a?
Just use a Lego Sniper rifle and a piece like this:
I'm too cheap to buy one, so I always do that.

Then I'm gonna buy both of them, Waxer and Boil have insanely hot uniforms!

What do you use to make them glossy?
EDIT: And sorry if this is considered, "Bumping."
