Clone AT-VP

This is my Clone All-Terrain-Variable-Transport. I built it for the challenge between Aki and I. This is a manned predecessor to the probe droid, Clones use them for patrolling swampy and very uneaven terrain enviroments. It is capable of repulser flight, but the repulsers are not stong enough to sustain the recoil of the main cannon when fired at full-power. Therefopre these vehicles usually crawl around on their four tentacle-like legs, and can even crawl on verticle or inverted surfaces. So here it was:

Pretty cool. I like the idea of the legs, as well as the use of the battlepack pieces. Is the main gun a flame thrower or a blaster though?

I like the legs and how small it is. The battle pack pieces are nice too.

I'd like if it was a plasma thrower(in SW we don't have flame throwers, too primitive. ) but I'm sure that's just meant to demonstrate the fire coming from the barrel. After all, the call it 'firing' right?

You should give the clone a bit more protection, because you only need 1 sniper to take him down.

Just to clarify, it's NOT a flame-thrower, it's suppose to look like it's firing. Yeah the clone is kinda exposed, but covering him up more makes it look bulky, and he doesn't want to fit, besides he's just cannon fodder anyway...

Whoa! This will be a challenge to beat (even though I have probally already done it .). I like the use of the battlepack. The only problem is that they won't be very handy in attacking a fortress, as they are a tab bit to small.

Very true, these vehicles are more for swamps/forests or rough terrain scouting/light fighting. In an all out assault, they'd be blasted to bits.

Y'know, I forgot to comment on the walker itself.

Anyways, it's a good design but the pod is a exposed. From the back there is little protection save a blue chair. And from the sides it's no better. But from the front there's a big ol' gun in the way, so he's safe that way.

My turn. I like it, but the blue chair sets me way off, you NEED to change that. The yellow lights are also wierd, you should get rid of them and put in a more republicy color. Good job over all.

The chair is being changed, but the lights, I kinda like them. And I don't think they make those pieces in Republic Red.

Nice moc I agree with others that he is a little exposed but ifyou look at the official LEGO clone scout walker he is just as exposed. I like the 4 legged design because its more stable than 2 (stupid AT-AP)
