Pod Racer
Here is my 99.9% complete pod racer.
I have not seen one of these show up on CABG for quite some time or never (unless I missed it). So I thought I would try something new out.
Here are some more pictures.
I need a good name for this awesome pod racer.
Enjoy and please comment!!!

Re: Pod Racer
It is better they what you posted be for. But this needs some work too. The Power rod thing, looks out of place, ( YES I know it is a pod racer) Don't know... If you fix it up, it would be a lot better.

Now you got to be out of your mind! This was on eruobricks and everyone thought the "power rods" where great!
Re: Pod Racer
Nice. At least this is detailed not just a minifigure on a baseplate.

Re: Pod Racer
Pretty good. I like the actual "pods/engines."
By power rod, do you mean the orange thing connecting them?

Re: Pod Racer
The pod itself looks okay, but the two things in the front look a bit blocky and chunky and somewhat awkward.

You need to add more to the rod, make it bigger in some parts, smaller in others. Then it would look more real.
Re: Pod Racer
I think it would be improved with one of the new curved windshields. Other than that I like it.

Dude, Look at this:

I think the smaller the power rod the better the pod racer.
Thanks guys for the comments!!
Re: Pod Racer
Looks very accurate, but it has one small problem: the power rod should be purple, that is what the power rods color is in Episode 2 on all of the Pod Racer's. Other than that, it looks awesome !

Call it Blue Thunder, Blue Lightning, or even Blue Streak.
I think that this is amazing.

Re: Pod Racer
I like the design of the engines; everything seems to fit together well.
However, the pod itself looks a bit flimsy. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it seems as if the design goes from the baseplate - up. It could use some sort of sleek design on the bottom. Also, the two parts that stretch from the pod over the rods look out of place. It might look better without them.
But overall, I think this is a pretty good design for a Pod Racer! (And I agree with Alpha Beta, "Blue Streak" is a good name.)

Here is the new edited pod racer:
IDK if the pod racer looks good enough.
Please post suggestions and "good" comments.

Re: Pod Racer
The actual pod is much too small which makes the engines look awkward. Downsize the engines or increase the size of the actual pod. You should also take out that trans-lime green from the back of the engine, it looks strange with the blue to me.

It looks really weak, it's dead if it was in a race.

The engines are nice, but the pod is still too flimsy.
