Delta Squad (purist)
Here is my latest group of purist figs! Delta Squad! They are going to be in my 96x96, since the 96x96 slowly turned SWU. I'm most pleases with the DC-17m blaster, finding a solution for the ammunition clip was tough. Anyways, here are the figs, enjoy!

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
These are great figs Knight! I especially love the DC-17s, but the arms and backs of the figs are very nice as well! I like the use of the printed legs.
Re: Delta Squad (purist)
I'm no Republic Commando game fan, but I don't think their gear (backpack thingies) are accurate.
Still, these are pretty great for a batch of purists.
EDIT: Almost forgot, those guns are awesome!

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
Meh, they're alright for a purist version, but they really look nothing like the Delta Squad. It's markings you can't do the purist way that make them look more unique.
The guns are awesome, though! I really like them.

I know, the helmets were very disappointing to me. I wish I could have done more with these, but I couldn't. Oh well, I'm a purist and will always be a purist!

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
I believe I commented on Flickr but for the sake of hearing my computer keys click I'll comment on here as well. I think that for a purist figure you did a pretty swell job but I personally think you could of done better on the backs but other then that everything is looking great the guns especially.

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
Sorry, but I don't think the minifigs themselves are great. But the blasters are really nice!

Like others have said, the figures are near rubbish, but the guns are great.

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
It might give them a more commando look if you shaved off the fins with a file. Anyway, nice guns and decals.

He won't shave it off, it's purist. Learn some definitions before you start posting things like that.

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
The guns are epic! I never thought of that antenna fitting into the hole in the robot claw! But maybe you should have used a Commander Cody and Commander Fox CW helmet for the two with those colors (sorry, I've never played the game anymore than the demo...so I don't know the names ) if you have those minifigs.

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
I like the way the guns were made, but the antenna thing at the end doesn't look right.

I'm a purist, so no decals, sharpie, or modding bricks for me.

I thought about using the printed CW helmets, but then I couldn't get the trans blue visor. Either way I lost some detail.

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
Sorry, bu these really just look like Phase 2 clones with colored arms. Nothing special. I do like the gun technique though.

Phase 2? Those are the ones from Revenge of the Sith. I think you mean phase 1.

Re: Delta Squad (purist)
RC-1262, aka Scorch / Delta-62 is the one with the yellow markings and the one with the dark red markings is RC-1207, aka Sev / Delta-07. Oh, and the one with the orange markings is RC-1138, aka Boss / Delta-38... > O667thLegion wrote:[snip-edy snip-snip] But maybe you should have used a Commander Cody and a Commander Fox CW helmet for the two with those colors~ (Sorry, I've never played the game anymore than the demo, so I don't know the names.) ~if you have those minifigs.

How did you get those helmets. I really want to get one. Also you did a good, pure, job! No pun intended.
