Amazing job Rook!. This is fantastic. No nitpicks at all. Hopefully you can work out the kinks in the new camera!
Re: CABGOII Staff P4 Contest Entry: Utapau Motorized Play Set
Yeah was in Collingwood, ON for last few days and I had some time to figure out how to use it properly. It was set on Auto and the Auto was crap. So now I know how to use all the manual functions.
PS: I’ll post a few videos today or tomorrow of the moving parts.

Wow!
There's so many details and I love them all, especially me climbing up the side.
This is easily the best MOC on CABG Rook, amazing.

This is absolutely amazing! Every small part of this MOC is of the caliber to win the contest itself!

Amazing job once again Rook. One of my favorite parts is the lights on the roof. There simple but they work great! I know who's getting my vote for MOC of the month!

I love everything about this! <-- I'm so amazed, my lips went numb.
That platform with Grievous & Kenobi is really cool! I also love that motorized conveyor belt and how it drops off those droids!
The building is extremely detailed for its size!
Small details are great, like how Delta Squad and Tac are climbing their way to Kenobi!
That motorized turret kicks @$$!
*Sigh* I can keep going, but it'd be considered spam.

This proves why you are the best builder on this site, maybe in the world. I finally understand why someone made this emoticon.

Yeah I was having issues with getting the Flash code right. So they're just images now that you can click on to the video. Our forum's server doesn't like the PhotoBucket flash code.
Thanks. I think that's why my first title/rank was "Rookifier". Not the best builder but maybe the best at play ability.

Re: CABGOII Staff P4 Contest Entry: Utapau Motorized Play Set
Wow, this is simply amazing. But those things that you pointed out (The unfinished rock formation and the part of the wall next to it) should be finished IMO, I noticed those right away. Also, I love the assembly lines at the bottom of it. And very good job of putting the previous entries in there too! What does the word at the assembly lines at the bottom say (It's in yellow and you posted it in a later pic says like SEC something)?
Re: CABGOII Staff P4 Contest Entry: Utapau Motorized Play Set
I'm probably the first to shockingly say I do no like this. When you first look at it your like mostly due to its sheer size and you really don't take any of the smaller things in at first. The unfinished areas you pointed out really take a way from this Moc, it makes it look considerably worse. My main issue is the Moc as a whole is extremely cluttered, and it really has no specific flow to it. Way to many studs are visible but that is because you chose to make it to big. I'm sorry if my following posts are choppy because they are
1. The white spider thing while amazing at the top the bottom really doesn't match up with the top and is very choppy in the way the pieces flow.
2. Images such as this shows how devoid of greebles many ares are.
3. While I love the fact that its motorized and due to the fact you did that makes it hard to add details and cover up some of those areas but it still is very lacking.
I feel like a complete douche saying this to you of all people as you could kick my arse in a number of lego related things but I just don't like this. :/ I do love this ship though as do I like a number of other parts of the Moc.
Edit: Like Tac said it is quite amazing for its size and restrictions.

I agree, it could be better if it was smaller, but for this size it's good.
Re: CABGOII Staff P4 Contest Entry: Utapau Motorized Play Set
Wow, excellent work Rook. Everything is a bit crowded, but the detail and awesomeness makes up for it. Well done.

Do I see a republic gunboat? This is an amazing MOC Rook and I could never dream of making any of the motorized bits, let alone the whole thing. The motorized sections are brilliant, the scenes are brilliant and the whole thing is brilliant. Great job Rook!

@ Troopa Daisy
"DOC B" on left and "SEC 8" on right, I believe.
-------------------------------------------------
@ Darman:
No worries. As I said, I kind of gave up on it because of the lack of competition.

This is pretty cool looking... except for the black at the base. You are sure to win it for staff.

It's okay, but what's up with the phase 1 clonetroopers, it's the battle of Utapau, the clones have phase 2 armor! :d'oh:

Re: CABGOII Staff P4 Contest Entry: Utapau Motorized Play Set
Well for starters due to the 2nd wave of clone battle packs, which notably has Phase 1 clones, (Why TLG!? Why not in order!?) I have way more Phase 1 clones. 2nd I think the Phase 1 clones are way cooler. Due to their Roman Legionnaire feel. "The greatest fighting force that ever existed." Verses the semi-lame-esque feeling I get for the Phase 2 clones that look more like future storm troopers which also notably couldn't beat a smuggler, twin teenagers, a Wookiee, and 2 droids.
But you're right it's not very canon. I believe there is whole sub-cult out there that spend their days finding errors in Lucas' films and books too. Rather then just enjoying Sci-Fi and fantasy.
Here's a good example:
Down Syndome Storm Trooper
Roman Legionnaire Phase 1 Clone Trooper

^LIES, phase 2 clones are way cooler, you guys forgot about the pahse 2 clones, you threw all of them away, now you use less detailed phase 1 clones .

Not sure what "pahse" is, but I don't throw my Lego away. I just didn't use them.
And yes generally speaking Phase 2 are cooler but TLG has failed to make many of the "cooler" designs. The plain white Phase 2 clones are what I'm talking about.
Note how the clone's helmet makes it seem less intelligent with the passing of time.

Re: CABGOII Staff P4 Contest Entry: Utapau Motorized Play Set
The P2 is the stormtroopers helmet, just with the smaller antenna and different visor, and I shall say this, adding decals on P2 armor i kinda hard, the new P1 clone, they're much easier!
